Having booked through Air Miles, I had been moved from the Times Square location, and after spending 5 minutes in Times Square, I was so glad to be on Lexington. Within walking distance of so many tourist sites, shopping venues, many great restaurants, a subway line that led to anywhere I wanted to go. We did rely on cabs however,...

I love this hotel. This point re-confirmed yesterday when I made a reservation for later in the year. The staff at Starwood (thank you, Robert), and the hotel staff (thank you, Shannon) coordinated my stay for optimum pleasure. The doorman remembers my husband from previous visits, the breakfast-bar options (coffee, hard-boiled egg, banana, yogurt) are all grab-n-go foods, the lobby...

We took a trip to New York for the first time, opting to stay at the W Hotel on Lexington. The location was great, within walking distance to some of NY's biggest attractions. The rooms, although small, were extremely cozy, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff was amazing, from the concierge to the front desk. They provided us...

Other than mixing-up my reservation (I paid for a 'Mega' Room and they gave me a 'Spectacular' Room in error), this was a nice Hotel to stay in. Well laid-out and appointed, given/despite the lack of space. Bed&sheets were terrific. Management was very attentive and apologetic for the mix-up and made quick, satisfactory ammends separately. I've stayed in a couple...

Stayed 3 nights at W-Lexington Ave. We found the location very convenient. Did not eat at hotel as only breakfast and bar food at Heartbeat restaurant. Lots of alternative breakfast spots nearby including Starbucks. Rooms in black and slate grey with elegant fixtures. Room small, but typical for NYC and wasn't cramped at all. Very quiet--slept well. Bathroom is small...

My wife and I stayed in this property in July 2012, it was extremely hot in NY I have to say.. We had a great time visiting NY for a week, the hotel staff was extremely helpful with all our queries, they definitely do not know the word ' NOT ', there is always a ' let me check '...

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were rather small. Front Desk staff were very helpfull especially when my lift access card did not work three times in a row. They really were geniuinely helpful. The room was very poky though.. Well positioned for easy access into NYC. I am definitely NOT convinced about the value for money though...

We love the W concept! So we were certain to stay at a W Hotel while we are in New York. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and the bed is the typical perfect and most comfortable bed i ever slept in :) So we mostly enjoyed the stay in the W hotel @ Lexington Avenue. Unfortunately we...

I recently stayed at the W for business and was not impressed for the price. The hotel seemed to be trying too hard and missed small basic things that you would expect for the price. My room had no full length mirror, so I literally went to the hall in front of the elevator to check my outfit each morning....

Stayed here for the first 5 days of our honeymoon in November 2011. The room at the time was thought to be terrific, large corner suite. However the furniture was ridiculous. The couch was the most uncomfortable, spaceship looking thing that could not accommodate more than one person. And no space to put your toiletries in the bathroom. The check...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
