I chose this hotel based on its trip advisor rating and its the only time I've found trip advisor has steered me wrong. Yes, the hotel is nice enough and the location is convenient but you're paying for the location rather than the quality of the hotel. The housekeeping is hit and miss. I was unimpressed to return to my...

The Casablanca Hotel Times Square is very centrally located and handy to everything you would want, Metro, Hop-on-hop-off bus, great restaurants etc, all within walking distance (only 20 paces to the hub of Times Square!). We stayed 4 nights and throughly enjoyed our time at the Casablanca. The rooms are small but more than adequate for the two of us....

We were there for four days....it all was great. What really impressed was the staff.......not one person was anything but friendly, kind, considerate, helpful and fun. Breakfast included a wonderful coffee machine for lattes, cappucinos, expressos (along with traditional brewed coffee)! Great selection of pastries, FRESH fruit, juices, breads/toast, hard boiled eggs, etc. Wine and cheese each evening was the...

After looking through reviews on Trip Advisor, we picked this hotel as it seemed the most popular. We were so glad we did. From the booking through to the checking out, the staff were very friendly and helpful, coming up with ideas for trips and restaurants and being very helpful in general. The hotel itself is a small, cosy little...

Dear flynn_joe, Thanks so much to you and all our TripAdvisor Fans for choosing the Casablanca and for sharing these reviews with the world. I can't tell you how much we appreciate it. We hear your request for new tables. We could not find a place to add a table so what we have done is replace all the chairs...

I recently stayed here with my boyfriend and although the hotel was nice, I didn't feel it was worthy of a number 1 ranking on trip advisor. There are many hotels in NYC that are better than this one.

Dear elissac75, THank you for your comments. I am glad you thought the hotel was nice. Regarding our ranking, being #1 on TripAdvisor doesn't mean a hotel is the fanciest or most luxurious hotel in the city. There are other travel guides better geared for that. TripAdvisor is more a rating of guest satisfaction which can apply to any style...

Had a wonderful three day stay in October. In addition to the attentive staff and excellent lounge facilities we were amazed at how quiet our room was considering its location in the heart of the busiest city in the world. Will return as soon as we can.

From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff were attentive and friendly and truly made us feel special. The room was small (and I understand from the concierge, they all are) but nicely decorated and very clean - as was the whole hotel. The only true downside is that the rooms are cooled by window air conditioners -...

This hotel is amazing. Staying here is like staying with friends - the staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the price includes Wi-fi; coffee and nibbles 24/7; wine and cheese each evening; and breakfast each morning. Walk out the front door and there's Times Square - one couldn't ask for a better location

First time staying in this part of NY and selected this place based on Tripadvisor comments + available amenities (free breakfast, free wifi, free passes to local gym). Location could not be better for Times Square action - literally just around the corner from all of the lights and action. Rooms were comfortable and quiet (we did not have street-facing...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
