Hotel is in a great location near the Empire State building, Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, Macy's, and numerous subway lines. Getting around was easy. The room was a bit small, but clean. Although some of the grout in the bath/shower tile was discolored and the toilet seat was loose (forgot to mention at check out). Hallways are a bit...

Typical breakfast for Hampton-eggs, cereals, danish, yogurts. Anything you need can be found in neighborhood. Unfortunately our carpet was dirty...visible dirt. This hotel staff is so nice! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast varied every day to provide a good start to our sight seeing. Even though it is in the city, very quite. I will stay here next time I am in NYC!

This hotel is in an excellent location, just steps from a subway entrance, less than a block from Macy's, and very close to Penn Station. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was spotless and very quiet, which was a bonus for midtown Manhattan, and the breakfast buffet offered a nice variety. There were nice Neutrogena bath amenities,...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
