This place is dangerous and absolutely terrible. I will never come back here. I felt like my safety was threatened by the security guards and a man that identified himself as the "manager" of the hotel. I notified the hotel of the specific events of...More

Wish I could leave a happier review but few things disappointed me! Firstly; building, lobby, staff, feel of the place was lovely, beautiful, clean and pleasing. However the size of the rooms were beyond rediculous, I expected small from the pictures and descriptions. But honestly...More

This place is absolute garbage. We paid several thousand dollars for a table on my birthday last night. At one point I stepped outside for a breath of fresh air with a friend. When I tried to go back in, the bouncer (apparently named Dionisio-...More

This lovely old quirky hotel in New York was wonderful. It reminded me of The Grand Budapest Hotel. Staff wore old Timey uniforms and the lobby while small was beautiful with old wood walls. I took the elevator to my floor to my small room....More

About
Description
Completed in 1908, the American Seaman’s Friend Society Sailors’ Home and Institute was designed by William A. Boring, the architect renowned for Ellis Island’s immigrant station. Originally built as a More hotel for sailors with cabin-like rooms, the land-marked hotel was lovingly restored on its centennial in 2008 as the Jane Hotel. The Jane Hotel has continued to house guests with more dash than cash ever since. Less

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted

cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
