The front staff (Keri & Mali) we incredibly attentive & helpful. They were there to help on the way in and out. The hotel was clean & quiet rooms (which is a bonus in NYC). Downstairs bar was a nice hang out. Great stay & location.

at the heart of where u need to be without the crowds, a human size hotel with really friendly service. A top selection - has a nice gym open 24h. good size rooms and very modern bathrooms. Loads of restaurants - and very close to penn station (direct to jfk)

The hotel is not flashy on the outside but when you get inside the room, it has a very upscale feel to it. The mattresses are very comfortable!! The location is two blocks away from MSG so it's really in a great location if you are traveling from Penn Station.

I stayed here during a convention at the Javits Center. The hotel was clean and well kept, the staff was very nice and friendly and there were several safety measures in place that I really appreciated. The room was very tiny but that's to be expected. Overall, it was a good stay.

Made a weekend trip to New York with my mother. This was my second visit to this hotel, and they did it again! The staff at Crowne Plaza Hy36 Midtown are incredible. From the general manager, John, to the front desk staff, to the luggage concierge, to the adjoining restaurant staff, everyone was so pleasant and willing to do whatever to make sure our stay was comfortable! Additionally, the 100% walkable rating for this hotel is absolutely accurate. Most destinations are within a 15-30 minute walk! This was very important to us as we wanted to do New York without breaking the bank or the legs! Thank you for a great experience!

A friend and I visited NYC (from Canada) for five days and stayed here. We took the subway from JFK and basically emerged 1/2 a block from the hotel (aka VERY convenient). As soon as we entered we were greeted by authentically smiling people. That's the thing that stands out to me - every person working at the hotel was friendly, kind, and willing to help. With a glass of bubbly (not Bublé) we were shown to the elevator and went up to our room. The room was clean and updated (not old and scuzzy). It had everything we needed - safe, ironing board, iron, storage, tv, etc. It's also located just south of times square in Midtown so it acted as the perfect home base. I can't stress this enough, but when the hotel is clean, comfortable and welcoming you know you're always returning to your home base after all your day's (and night's) adventures.
