All in all, I highly recommend this hotel as a tested and true "luxury boutique" hotel at a reasonable price. Read my review carefully to see if this hotel would fit your style and needs: We stayed at the Ace Hotel previously for one night only, in one of their smaller rooms, so it was a treat for our babymoon...

Writing this review while at the hotel. I'm pretty disappointed with Ace. While the place has character and is pretty clever, there are a number of essentials that have fallen by the wayside. The bathroom is very moldy/musty. There's no hook to hang the towel. The shower drains very poorly. The television remote doesn't work. When I asked room service...

A four night stay with 30 colleagues all in the leisure and industry. The Ace was perfect for us. Rooms are pretty basic and lighting a bit dim but they are pretty cool too with record players, big tv's, Smeg fridge full of beers. A desk, loads of hanging space and decent shower and bath tub make the rooms just...

Hi Bilko01, Thanks so much for your review. We love how detailed it is and how much you've soaked in the local area. You're right, the location is a prime one. It's not only pretty central to nearby neighborhoods but what surrounds 29th Street is growing and thriving. We agree, the East River Ferry is convenient and a cool way...

Spent 3 nights earlier this month with my husband. Great property, super location, Stumptown Coffee attached a big plus. Only complaint was the lighting in the rooms was inadequate - too dim, and not adjustable. Bed was super comfortable, and the lobby/lounge was great. It's busy all day with people holding casual meetings and working on their laptop, and at...

Having read YumYum Travellers review I couldn't agree more. I stayed at the Ace NYC with friends in January, and also felt that I didn't quite make the grade of what they considered to be a 'cool' customer. Liked the decor, liked my room, and really appreciated the responsiveness when I had numerous noise issues (which by the way is...

Hi Catmum40 - Thank you for your review. I'm a bit disappointed that you did not fully enjoy your stay here. I'm sorry that whoever you spoke to made you feel that if you don't agree, you're not welcome. Ace is all about inclusivity, which is why we keep our lobby open to everyone. Either way, I apologize that you...

Snow storm Stella has ground NYC to a halt today so there are a lot of guests hanging around the hotel either working or doing there best to enjoy vacation. The hotel staff have been truly outstanding trying to help people. I'm sure they are a few people down due to storm related travel challenges. The Team are putting on...

I recently stayed at the Ace Hotel NYC as my son said to check it out. I would highly recommend staying here as it has a great vibe in the main lobby, Breslings restaurant is fantastic and with Stumptown coffee connected to the hotel you can't go wrong! My room was small but welcome to NYC. However, it had all...

After staying with the Ace Hotel, my experience in New York has completely changed. The Ace is one of the most refined, mesmerizing, and modern hotels in the city, and their exceptional service and attentive staff are nothing short of extraordinary. I stayed at the Ace over the course of three weekends in February and March this year. Needless to...

I stayed here on business and was lamenting being put up at The Ace (no disrespect just not my preferred neighbourhood) - but that changed when I saw my room. It was surprisingly spacious and tastefully decorated. It had a lot of personality - I could have moved in. Staff were friendly too.

Management response:

Thanks so much for your review, TJGto. We first want to say that we love your honesty. When we chose this neighborhood for the Ace, we were intrigued. There is a quietness that surrounds it, bringing a bit of a tranquility that isn't found in the lights and attractions of the nearby Times Square. The buildings are older and full...

The charm of the Ace Hotels never disappoints, and I enjoyed my stay at the NYC location.
