I stayed at this hotel two nights prior to the New York Auto Show. It is convenient to all venues, especially the Jacob Javits Center. My room was small, with barely enough room for a queen bed. But it was clean and had all the amenities. I thought it was overpriced.

We spent here our first 3 nights during a 10-night stay in New York City. Positive points: - Location is convenient, as it allows you to easily reachTime Square in 10-15 minute via Subway. - Staff is generally friendly, willing to help and provide instructions/suggestions - Price is extremely low, compared to other hotels with the same category in Manhattan....

We wanted to stay in a hotel close to Penn Station. 36 Hudson is a bit farther than I thought, but not too bad. It is still within 15 minutes walk and about 30 minutes walk to Time Square. However, it is somewhat away from everything on a quiet street. I saw a review about being not safe. I didn't...

I stayed there for two night. Price was just unbelievable low. I didn't expect the hotel can be so good for just under $120 in Manhattan just couple blocks from Times Square. Of course room was very small. But what do you want for such great price? Hotel is very clean. Stuff is friendly. There is even free coffee at...

We stayed one night at this hotel just because it was very close to Penn Station. The hotel was easy to find and they allow me to check in earlier in the room. The room was very small but it had a comfortable king bed and it was clean. It also had a TV with cable. Our rooms were on...

Location couldn't be better, Surprisingly very big room for NewYork, and we got a great deal through an internet platform. It's a very big hotel and somehow impersonal, breakfast was disgusting, we went out the other days, but overall good rating

Even if at walking distance to 5th Av, this Hotel is too expensive for what is offered. Pictures are showing the best room while the real ones are much smaller and the overall impression is much different. Ugly area on the 36th, the only advantage is that is close to the metro. Cleaning staff is not professional and miss to...

The staff was very friendly, the rooms are clean and week designed and it's a 3 minute walk to Javits Center. It's nothing fancy, but for the price we paid, it was a great value. Be vigilant if you're walking back late at night, but that's true anywhere in the city.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
