I live in Colorado now, but, I grew up in NYC and lived in the West Village for many years, so when I found Incentra Village House on-line it seemed like the perfect fit. I LOVED my room, it was perfect for the week I...More
Only thing going for it was its location. Pictures on website not accurate for condition of interiors. Very expensive compared to chain hotels in the city. Was thinking more of intimate but felt claustrophobic! Dark and drab.
As someone who lived in the West Village 17 years, I chose this inn because I know the neighborhood well. The area is packed with terrific restaurants, shops and historical sites, and is close to the Hudson River, the High Line and a major subway...More
This was my granddaughter's first trip to NY and I am so pleased with the impression this house and the staff left on her. Met Netta first while making reservations and she was great to work with. She and Tyra had balloons and a birthday...More
Welcoming staff, comfy rooms that don't feel like cells in a beehive, a terrific location. And real windows that open!
Personally, I'm going to try and stay here every time I come to New York.

Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
