After being a regular customer at the magnificent LOTTE New York Palace for over twenty years this was the top experience ever….Not only does The Palace provide every single need or want in a hotel, the experience is nothing short of perfect 👍. Yes I have been a guest for over twenty years and always treated with the utmost professionalism and class.. this time was different. My daughter always wanted to get married at The beautiful St. Patrick’s Cathedral…located directly beside the hotel.. she wanted to have her wedding in New York and to get ready in the gorgeous rooms they provide……… The New York Palace and their ENTIRE staff made the wedding experience the best anyone could wish for.. a very unexpected suite upgrade was made without us knowing. This was the best suite with a view of entire Manhattan.. her wedding party was able to get ready , enjoy wonderful meals in this paradise room. Thanking the master front desk Jimm…. who personally saw to making this entire event a dream by upgrading her room…. and Myles for this surprise to make a wedding day Perfect. I have personally worked with Jimm ….the most efficient, and professional staff member for over twenty years…. Being from out of town all guests were booked in the main hotel as well as the stately TOWERS. Seventy five guests had a perfect stay. What also made this trip seamless was the information and guidance from the best Concierge staff in the city… Isabella, Ani, Rene, Kal and Diego are just some of the superb concierge staff. We are daily greeted with warmth and welcoming from the entire doormen staff… George, Ray, Gary, Louis, Fran , and Eddie. They all have become like family to all of us. Thank you will never ever explain our heartfelt appreciation for making our daughter’s wedding a fairytale come true with everything that was done for us in this most perfect, wonderful, and professional hotel in the heart of Manhattan THE LOTTE NEW YORK PALACE. 👏👏👏👏👏👏…
While I made my own reservation for Lotte New York Palace online, Marie of the Reservations Department had emailed me a few days prior to my arrival to learn more about my brief trip with my daughter to see some Broadway show in NYC. (I thought it was a nice touch to greet us even before we boarded the plane.) Marie acted like a goodwill ambassador on behalf of the hotel and wished us a great stay in advance of our arrival. On arrival day, Nana helped us with our luggage as we exited the taxi, but since my daughter and I only had one carry-on each, we needed no further assistance and thanked him for his time. As we entered the hotel through the revolving door, Captain, Mike Murray welcomed us back, remembering we had just been at the property 5 months prior. Mike commented on how nice my daughter’s luggage looked. (She was using luggage that was colorfully decorated in the “Yellow Submarine” characters made famous by the Beatles movie of the same name.) Mike briefly chatted with my daughter about the Beatles and Paul McCartney, which instantly put a smile on my daughter’s face. Anne-Marie, at the Front Desk welcomed us back and checked us into our room—a beautiful corner suite in the Towers. My daughter and I ordered In-Room Dining several times and were greeted on the phone by Leslie, who was very polite and courteous while answering my questions. Denzel and Maxine delivered our food and asked how our stay was going as they moved the food from the cart to the living room table, per my requests. (The food was as it’s always been—fantastic. Their chocolate crème brûlée is my personal favorite.) On our last day, Lincy check-out the room for us and thanked us for staying at the property. The Doorman, George, noticed my daughter’s luggage and struck up a conversation with her about musical groups, concerts and his favorite performers, all while hailing a cab for us. He was very energetic, very entertaining and very enthusiastic about his job—again, leaving a smile on my daughter’s face. It was only a two-day trip, but the elegant hotel, it’s perfect location (across the street from St. Patrick’s Cathedral and walking distance to many NYC sights) along with world-class service of the hotel employees, made it a trip I will always remember……
Nicest staff I have ever met! Everyday they would welcome us back and help us with everything we needed. We had an amazing view of New York and St. Patrick’s cathedral. A great location centered in the middle of everywhere
We stayed at the Lotte Palace NYC for our anniversary and it was wonderful. Diego, our stellar concierge, found us a beautiful dinner location overlooking Central Park which made it extra special. He also recommended the Magic Show, in the hotel for two nights only, and it was superb. We had a wonderful weekend and the Lotte staff was a huge part of it. Thanks!
If there is one word to describe my experience with lotte it would be opulence. It was my wedding weekend and for many, it's one of the most important times in their life. As a native New Yorker, the Lotte screams NYC classy hotel. Truth be told my stay would not be what it was without Mrs. Tracy-Ann Hamilton. Anything I needed Tracy was ensuring my stay was nothing short of magical. With the intensity of the hospitality business, Tracy exudes a sense of professionalism, compassion, and a calm demeanor that is exactly what Lotte New York Palace brings other guests. She was able to coordinate the multiple rooms we had with the front desk and was simply nothing short of amazing. The Lotte is very lucky to have such an amazing employee. While there may be all the craziness in NYC, when you walk into Lotte you are treated like family. Every staff member was professional and tried the best they can to make my family happy. Reuben with room service brought me an amazing breakfast and his staff was able to accommodate my dietary restriction. Despite living 30 minutes from Lotte, if I could pick a hotel to stay in again I would choose Lotte in a heartbeat.…
New York can be overwhelming for a visitor. Staying in Lotte NYC palace was like having a home to come back to after a long day sightseeing. The rooms are spacious for NYC and the beds are dreamy. The doormen are the stars of the show, so welcoming, fun and always engaging the kids making them feel like the most important guests in the hotel. We went to the Golden Room one night, which was incredibly busy. We were grateful that the team welcomed a group of adults and two kids under these circumstances. Yes, the golden room had some service hiccups but I believe this must be down to post COVID staffing issues in the industry. I can certainly see myself staying here again on my next visit and recommend it to others. Thank you guys for a great stay.
Very disappointed in our visit to the Gold Room (bar). All I can say is check your bill - lots of hidden charges that no one can explain. Our waiter literally said “the computer did it!!” When I asked the manager about it I got a blank stare since he didn’t have a clue. Go get your over priced drinks elsewhere.
I recently was planning a weekend at Lotte New York Palace. Before my my arrival I was in contact with their concierge member DIego. I cannot even begin to tell you the Exceptional Service I received from Diego . Professional helpful pleasant to work !! Diego gets 5 stars as well as the rest of the staff Many many thanks for making my weekend one to remember Mary P Boston, Ma
I stay at hello today powers exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the room was immaculate with an incredible view. The on-site spa was luxurious and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend!
Lotte New York Palace is the best hotel in the city- amazing location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Dan Nelson & Lily Cohen in sales were super helpful with making my reservation and taking care of ours needs ahead of time. We had drinks in Gold Room and it was a fabulous way to cap off our weekend. Will stay here again!
