We recently stayed at the comfort inn manhattan. We stayed in room 1106 and absolutely loved it. The room view was amazing ! It had all we needed including stand up shower, 2 queen beds, fast free wifi and buffet breakfast. ( breakfast was very good and had lots of options) The rooms are a bit tight but expected for...

My wife and I just stayed at this property for three days Jan 6-9th. Booked online and called ahead to ask for a high floor room with a view. When we checked in that was handled no problem at all. We had a nice view out of both windows, one of the manhattan bridge which is lovely. The hotel itself...

In my original review, I praised the location, the view, the rooms and the friendliness of staff. All of these remain top rate. But when I returned for my second stay, I could not sleep because of a worn bearing in a fan in the HVAC system. At around midnight, there started to be a buzzing sound from the vent....

My husband and I enjoyed our five-night stay very much, and neither of us had a single complaint - how unusual! The room was clean and comfortable, as was the ensuite, and we loved the view of the bridge approach. We were fine with the do-it-yourself breakfasts with paper plates. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything I require from...

The lobby is sparse. The rooms are smaller (but more than adequate for NYC). But the overall experience was excellent. Rooms have everything you need and the front desk has everything you forgot to bring. Room was clean, cozy and apparently recently renovated. We loved the location; within a block of Manhattan Bridge, one of the most beautiful of all...

We stayed for 7 nights during December and our room was on the top floor. The top floor has been recently completed and the rooms are quite nice. The rooms are on the small side, however, the bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was included and the choice consisted of basic cereal, bagels/pastries, waffles, yoghurt and...

We stayed for a quick girls weekend. It was in a great location and we had everything we needed. The staff accommodated all of our needs in a timely fashion. I didn't know that rooms could be so small but even though they were small we didn't mind. We had everything we needed and lets be real....how long are you...

Location is extremely convenient. Only a few blocks from the subway and very close to lots of dining options in Chinatown and Little Italy. The immediate area has a lot of Asian markets and seems relatively safe even in the late hours. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. The hotel is in poor condition. Hallways are beat up. This hotel is a really awesome find. While it's priced mid-ranged, the service and amenities are not short than any 4 start hotel I've been to in the city. The rooms are spacious (which is rare in NYC!), with strong showers and nice view of Manhattan Bridge. Wifi is mostly strong, breakfast is decent, and the area is great, right...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
