HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 12 February 2017 via mobile

This hotel is extremely well located , has 3 subway stations nearby, grand st, Bowery and canal st, right in the middle of Chinatown and little Italy. Even though there's not many places open nearby around at night time (to eat), it is very safe to walk in that neighbourhood. Staff is very helpful, we arrived at late night starving...

This hotel is in a convenient location and great rates. It is in Chinatown, rightby Little Italy and we walked to the Bowery Ballroom. The rooms are good size and the bathroom in our room is very nice. Everything we needed at a good price for NYC!

The hotel is conveniently located near metro stations. The bed was super comfortable but the room was a little too hot and we couldn't control the temperature. We had a lovely view from the 8th floor. Not too impressed with the breakfast. I ended up paying about 15% more for my stay than the booking had made clear (always read...

Thank you for taking the time to complete this review of the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge. Your feedback is very important to us. I am very sorry to hear there was a misunderstanding between the rate and NYC taxes. In New York everyone is required to pay 14.75% plus $3.50 city and occupancy per night. I would appreciate if you...

Disclaimer...we got really, really lucky. We just happened to have good timing when we checked in and we got a nice upgrade because they were all out of the lower-cost rooms. We ended up with a 2-story corner room on the 10th floor that overlooked the Manhattan Bridge and lower Manhattan. It was quite epic for the price we paid....

Always great to stay in this location because there is so much to do within walking distance and this hotel is clean and quite. Garage on the block over from hotel only takes cash if parking there and it cost $40 for 24 hrs which is not bad. Sunday is free street parking if you can grab it.

My wife and I just stayed at this property for three days Jan 6-9th. Booked online and called ahead to ask for a high floor room with a view. When we checked in that was handled no problem at all. We had a nice view out of both windows, one of the manhattan bridge which is lovely. The hotel itself...

In my original review, I praised the location, the view, the rooms and the friendliness of staff. All of these remain top rate. But when I returned for my second stay, I could not sleep because of a worn bearing in a fan in the HVAC system. At around midnight, there started to be a buzzing sound from the vent....

My husband and I enjoyed our five-night stay very much, and neither of us had a single complaint - how unusual! The room was clean and comfortable, as was the ensuite, and we loved the view of the bridge approach. We were fine with the do-it-yourself breakfasts with paper plates. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything I require from...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
