My sisters and I stayed at Radio City Apartments for the first time and we will not be staying anywhere else on return trips to NY. The room was huge compared to other NY hotels we have stayed in in the past (3 others). Clean and plenty of room to move around and still room for all the things we...

Stayed for 5 night - August 2009 I chose this hotel because of the kitchenette and proximity to the action. Room small but that is to be expected in New York - all we did was eat breakfast and sleep the sleep of the exhausted tourist every night It was more than adequate. Room was clean, all utensils and cooking...

The good reviews has set my expectations but the reality is that this place is a bit of a disappointment. Great location and OK as a place to put your head down for a night, but not somewhere I'd rush to come back to on my next visit to New York. The decor is tired, the staff look tired and...

We booked 2 rooms here for our family while we got married in Central Park. The rooms are lovely, lots of space, nice bathrooms and well stocked kitchens. My only problem with the hotel was that we paid $4591.44 in advance for our stay and then they argued with us for $3 on checkout as taxes had gone up even...

I booked this hotel based on the glowing reviews from TA, and to be honest, I was a bit dissapointed. Pros: Location - a block to Rockefeller Center in one direction, and to Times Square in the other. Major subway lines less than a block away. Price - for a suite hotel, you cannot beat it. They have a full...

It is an old apartment building that was turned into a hotel. The rooms have fully functional kitchens and good views. You come out of the hotel and turn right and you are looking at the Rockefeller building. If you turn left, go to the first intersection and turn left again you are looking at Times Square. From the hotel...

This place is in the best location, Times Square is arround the corner, the subway is within a 3 minute walk. 5th Av. two bloks away. The rooms are quite nice and very clean. The kitchen facilities all worked well. Only let down is reception, we did not find them very helpful or friendly but it wouldn't stop me from...

My partner, parents and myself stayed here for four nights at the start of July 2009 as the last leg of our 22-day ‘Grand East Coast Tour’. We booked two Studio Rooms and got 5C and 7C (identical rooms, in the same position on different floors, looking out onto 49th Street at the front of the hotel). The room had...

Location was the best I have ever found in Manhattan. Building is not new but the apartments are spacious, fully furnished, clean and quiet. Much more comfortable than typical small rooms in NY. We were a group of 15 so we booked 2 apartments and 2 double/double rooms. We had good views from some of them. Staff was ok, we...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
