We stayed for 5 nights at the end of October and found Radio City Appt ideal. We have stayed in New York before and paid hotel prices but wanted to try something different and we were not disappointed. The room was a studio appt on the seventh floor on the front of the building. While you do hear noise from...

We stayed a week in a double bedded studio. A couple of tips: ask for a studio with an A number. We started off in 12B which was a bit shabby and had the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen - not even room for a shelf to put our toothbrushes! However we asked if we could move and the front...

A party of 2 couples stayed in 2 studio apartments during the end of October. On first impressions, I must admit I was quite worried. - We arrived from Newark airport (after me directing the taxi driver as he had no idea where it was...and I had never been to NYC- and could recognise some of the roads from google...

Been to NYC many times before and had a rough idea of what to expect when we arrived on the 18th Oct 08. From reading TripAdvisor reviews we where prepared for the Staff attitude on the reception desk, and boy where the reviews right on target, true to form the reception staff seem to swing Hot & Cold, nice one...

We are regular travellers to New York City and over the years we have stayed at good and not so good hotels. We chose Radio City Apartments because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor and the fact that we wanted a change. Bad move. The highpoint of the stay were the two guys on the front desk on a Sunday...

We were a family of 5: children ages from 6-10. The room size is pretty good for its central loctation. For the price we paid I would expect more: it is very noisy, and the room is a little gloomy. The view we had from the window (room 6I) was a parking lot. We were lucky the weather turned out...

I chose this hotel from this website. I have to say the positive reviews are well justified. The studio apartment we stayed in was bigger than any hotel room I have had in NYC before. The room was clean - the bathroom was absolutely spotless - very impressed. The bed was comfy and the a/c worked. The location (for us)...

The location was unbeatable - 2 mins from Times Square, 5 mins from 5th Avenue, 10 minutes to Central Park...it was pretty amazing. The subway is 1 minute away at the end of the street s getting anywhere is...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
