We spent 5 days at the Distrikt hotel and we felt very welcome. Our room on the 25th floor was very clean, modern and we had enough space. The hotel's location is great, very central. we did a lot by foot. Special thanks to the excellent staff: All of you were always so friendly and very attentive. We appreciated being...

We stayed here due to the other reviews...and can say we were not disappointed. We drive into the City on our way out from LI headed back home to TN. Parking was a breeze...literally right next to the hotel and only paid $25 as opposed to $40 to leave our car overnight after the hotel validates the card. We definitely...

This is a small excellent hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is excellent for Times Square and the subway There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The bar/restaurant is very good if a little pricey.

We stayed 4 days at the Distrikt and loved it. Our daughter had stayed there 2 years ago and recommended it and it was all that she said--great staff who couldn't do enough for us, advice on tours, where to eat, help with transport back to the airport and a room on the top floor!! Also it is only a...

We spent three nights at the Distrikt hotel and were thrilled with our stay. The rooms were super clean, the staff were courteous and helpful with directions and dining recommendations, and the beds and pillows were soft and comfortable. Great value with only a short walk to Times Square. Some reviewers mentioned that the street is a bit shady near...

This hotel is fab. Simple as that! Beautifully decorated with the best staff i have ever encountered at a hotel! Great location just minutes from Bryant Park and Times Square. The breakfasts were completely superb with a good mix of continental and NY favourites. The room was immaculate. We had a room at the back where the view was only...

I stayed here three nights and wonder how it is recommended by many visitors. The location is not bad but it is with bus terminal at the same street and you hear noise of busses all day long. The rooms are small and air condition is standing very near to bed. Cold air comes to you directly. We ordered a...

Thank you for your review of Distrikt. We are extremely disappointed that we did not meet or exceed your expectations, and are concerned about the confusion with the shuttle. Distrikt does endorse one outside company for car service, but we do not have any financial affiliation with them. We take guests' experiences very seriously even outside our doors, and would...

This is the second time I am staying with my family at the Distrikt hotel. The location and the cleanness are excellent and the service overall is good. We have noticed that the quality of the service provided by the people working at the reception can vary from excellent to average and overall the people cleaning the rooms they forgot...

Thank you for your review of Distrikt. New York rates can fluctuate quite a bit, but we always want to be viewed as a value to all of our guests. We are most concerned by your observation that the service was a bit off, and will be addressing that with the management team. We would love to earn a 5...

This was my daughter's 16th birthday and apart of her gift was a trip to NYC. I combed through review after reviews from various hotels on trip advisor. I booked back in April for a July trip with several hotels. I selected this one based on the reviews and was not disappointed. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
