Good location. Very friendly, helpful front desk staff: Benz, Osvaldo & Angel and all the porter guys made our 7 night stayed much more enjoyable. Rooms and hotel very clean. We'll recommend this hotel to family & friends.

I'm rarely this conflicted about a hotel. I met a total of 4 people, and they were all very nice. And that matters. It's also true that the rooms are put together pretty well (although the cut out for the TV looks to have been made by a dull hand saw). The problems that doomed this review all cropped up...

Dear ChrisHNewYork, Thank you for choosing the Flatiron Hotel for your recent stay in NY. My sincerest apologies for all of the unfortunate first impressions. Our focal attraction in our lobby is the fish tank which we take great pride in maintaining. Sadly, our fish were infected with a virus called "ick" which was being treated. It's unfortunate that we...

This was my first trip to NYC and staying at the Flatiron made it better than I thought it could be! The hotel was clean and the room had everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful whenever we asked for anything. The location was perfect--we could walk to everything we needed and there were great restaurants...

This place definitely has its pros and cons. The location is ideal as it is a short walk away from a subway station and there are many places to grab breakfast before you head out for the day. The room was relatively clean and the shower was great. On the other hand, the nightly music was usually terrible (singers always...

Dear CanadaAroundTheWorld, Thank you for choosing the Flatiron Hotel for your recent stay. We appreciate your feedback. My sincerest apologies for the inconveniences experienced during your stay. The response to your maintenance issue is certainly not typical and is absolutely unacceptable. We also have several mattress options, some of which are firm and others are soft. If you choose to...

Stayed the weekend of June 6 with the family (wife and 2 kids) for 2 nights. We took the advice of the previous reviews and asked to be moved to a higher floor when we were given a third floor room at check in. We stayed on the 7th floor and noise was never an issue. The location of the...

This is my second time staying here. The staff goes out if their way to be helpful. Angelo in particular was my hero in his tireless and successful effort to get me a taxi in the rain. Great lounge with awesome music at night. Ask for an upper level floor if you need to go to sleep early though. Large...

I wasn't sure what to expect when booking this hotel, as it was the cheapest available through my corporate booking website. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms, friendly staff, and noise level. Room - I had a queen room on the street side and it was (shockingly) very quiet. I also enjoyed playing with all the...

My friend and I booked the Madison room, two double beds. We had a fantastic time. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the full body shower after a long day of walking. Only complaint is that there was no room service for morning coffee. We were on the 4 th floor and didn't hear the music once we closed...

Amazing ambiance and feel for a Manhattan boutique hotel. From the moment, we arrived there was an artistic sensuousness. From the moment we walked in, we were in like another world. Live jazz was playing. We were offered a complimentary flute of champagne as a welcoming. Benz at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. I had read all the...

One of worst hotel experiences we have ever had. Toshi does not love you if he thinks anyone should stay on floors 3&4, and 8 -10. We were originally put on 3rd floor. 1st floor is their lobby and bar where they have alive band every night, 2nd floor is another lounge area. Our friends were on 10th floor, underneath...
