There was free Wi-Fi, and overall the room was decent, relatively clean minus the kitchen utensils and a small spider crawling in the tub. However the whole area felt a little unsafe at night (we were randomly threatened by an individual upon arriving nearby the bed & breakfast). I would recommend them putting metal bars/gates covering the windows on the...

This small B&B in Harlem doesn't break the bank. I agree with other reviews that this was more like a hostel than a bed and breakfast, but it is much nicer than other comparably priced hotels in the city. It's clean, easy to get to, the staff are friendly, and the rooms sufficient. Ours even came with a kitchenette.

I stayed at the garden room at the Harlem B and B with my two kids and husband. The kids had their own bedroom and we had ours. We had a little kitchen and living room. The location is excellent - right near Marcus Garvey park and just a walk from restaurants and 125th street. Also, near many subway lines....

Do not be fooled by the pictures on the website! Having stayed in Bed & Breakfasts all over the world and several in the NYC area, we were not prepared for this stay. There is great potential in this brownstone, but as it is, it has more of a hostel feel than a charming brownstone. Several suggestions would make this...

This ticks all the boxes for an affordable, comfortable, well located hostel / B&B in Upper Manhattan. Just 10 blocks (1 mile) from Central Park and 4 blocks from the nearest subway station. Breakfast is served in the lobby; get there early so you don't miss out on cold croissants, muffins, yoghurts, cheese, bread, orange juice, bottled water and various...

We stayed 12 nights in this Bed and Breakfast in Room #2. We enjoyed it staying there and we didn't regret it decided for this Hotel. It is really friendly and our room was quite huge: there were 2 doublebed, a desk, 2 wardrobes (one big, one small one), a fridge, a sink, a couch and a TV Set. It...

I really enjoyed my first stay in New York thanks to the very friendly staff, the comfortable room and the fab croissants! I am recommending the Harlem b and b to friends, family and colleagues for the warmth of welcome especially from the lovely staff. One tiny problem was the internet access was a bit patchy, but not a big...

No coffee avaiable Saturday morning unless I wanted to hike back up to the bathroom to get my own water. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was not. I didn't feel unsafe.
