I recently stayed here for 13 nights and the door men and staff downstairs hardly said hello or good morning twice.. they were too busy on facebook and tinder by the likes... its a world away from the Hyatt Hotels that's for sure. The room was quite high so we were fortunate not to hear the cabs peeping all night..the...

Great value and location. Rooms were nicely appointed and had everything we needed. Quiet even for a bustling location in the heart of midtown. Great nearby conveniences including several eateries, coffee, shopping and groceries.

I was in the city just for the weekend to catch kinky boots and the famed and spectacular Hamilton. I arrive jetBlue and was promptly picked up by a driver from the on gas. The vendor was unknown. Enjoyable.

The hotel windows don't have proper sound-proofing, With so much construction going on in Manhattan, police cars all night and the loud noise from garbage trucks, this hotel in highly avoidable unless they put double glass windows. Staff told me that the hotel did not choose double windows as it did not go with the rest of the decor.

Well situated for theatre visit and Convient in midtown. Rooms are small but well appointed and lovely bathrooms. Mini bar is stocked and free for all non alcoholic beverages and some snacks. Very quiet. Very young front desk who often are a bit casual for us with personal cell phones are ubiquitous, but perhsps this is the Trend.

Room was very modern and comfortable, bathroom was spacious. Service is ok, chilled and helpful but you sometimes have to wait long for luggage service. Breakfast is a la carte with limited but interesting options and the portions are pretty big.

This hotel is very modern. The people that checked us in were not the brightest. The breakfast was good. Asking for recommendations was hard as it depends on who you ask. The room was a decent size. The bathroom was great as the shower was open with great water pressure. Unfortunately, ventilation was non-existent. The noise from the street was...

I have stayed at this hotel for more than 10 times and watched the service gradually declining to fall to zero. From check-in to breakfast and check out, I have not seen anyone with a positive attitude. Instead, they were either blatantly lying, ignoring or arguing with a loyal customer they didn't care about. Adieu Andaz fifth, never be back...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
