Hotel looks new and modern. WiFi is good. Housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable, although small. No room upgrade or alternative benefit for SPG Gold member. The reception staff seemed always busy. The check-in and check-out waiting time was long. Room has no minibar. Elevators require room key to activate. The hotel is near Chinatown....

I had seen some other reviews about this hotel and almost changed my reservation. I am glad I didn't must say some of the other reviews of this hotel were very misleading. I found the staff friendly and professional and the hotel was very clean. The clubroom and patio on the 21st floor was outstanding. The hotel was also located...

Great location and ideal for NY a bit far from the heart of time square but close to soho and tribeca which is much more quiet. A bit noisy due to canale street nearby and room are a bit small. Staff is nice, many restaurants around. Good price for value

I am SPG member, traveling a lot and usually very happy staying at the SPG hotels, however, this was not one to remember: 1 Stay was good overall however, due to a late flight and the fact we are traveling with a baby we requested a late checkout. While the room was small everything worked and it was quite and well maintained. The staff was helpful and the location interesting. Sheraton Tribeca is perfect for a short and sweet Big Apple trip. Location is awesome. 5 to 10 minutes walk to the heart of Soho and 2 minutes to subway. The hotel itself is very cozy. Like most NYC hotels, the rooms were small. Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. The hotel is near Chinatown, Little Italy, Greenwich Village and SoHo--which makes it a big plus! The staff was kind and inviting. I am a Starwood member so I try to stay at Starwood properties when I travel. I would stay here again.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
