Checked in on Saturday (in town for the 5 Boros bike tour). It was a little early so I wasn't expecting much - turns out our room was ready but it turns out a "double room" means a double bed, not two beds (so be advised when on the DoubleTree website!). Anyhow, Damien, the front desk clerk, went above and...

This hotel is in an excellent location in lower Manhattan. It is a quiet area especially on weekends. It is close to excellent restaurants(some historic). There is a parking garage right across the street which is very convenient and accommodating(garage is not a hotel owned). The hotel is in walking distance of Battery Park, Ferry to Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island,...

Great service and very clean. The subway system entrance is right across the street. A lot of nice restaurants and bars in the area with very good food. Also, a few coffee shops less the a block away, which was a great way to start the morning. The 2 only issue is the hotel is 44 floors, so if you...

Hotel itself is fine and in a good location close to Battery Park. However, someone from hotel staff or housekeeping stole the bag with our 6-year old daughter's bike helmet and all of our numbers for the TD 5-Boro Bike Ride (worth $500) the day before the event. Fortunately the race managers are working with authorities to find the people...

This hotel is in a great location, close to transportation and all the lower Manhattan attractions. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. The rooms are tiny but clean and comfortable. No storage in bathroom , no refrigerator. We had a king size bed that seemed to have been shortened as our feet were off the end and neither of...

Location, location, location! The hotel is close to 3 subway stations and the Staten Island ferry terminal. Perfect for a few days' stay in NY! The rooms are fine, though rather small. Walls are pretty thin. Service was fine. The room was clean and had coffee facilities but no mini bar. Would stay again.

If you are attending an event in Battery Park, this hotel has the best proximity. Walking distance makes it very accessible to the park. The weekend rates are typically lower, being that it's in Wallstreet financial district. If you stay on a high floor, expect a long wait for the elevators. The restaurant is nice and serves a good breakfast....

This was an excellent location for staying in the Battery Park area, very close proximity to The Statue of Liberty Tours, Ellis Island, and the World Trade Center. This was a trip for my Grandaughters birthday she had a wonderful time and we would stay here again.
