Love the view from The Jewel NY! Staff is super friendly and hotel is really clean. Hotel is conveniently centralized around many shops, restaurants and site seeing locations. Plan to stay here again on my next visit!

We stayed during marathon weekend. This hotel is an a fantastic location directly across from Rockafeller Center. We walked everywhere! The rooms are small, but that is to be expected for NYC. I appreciated the clean, updated hotel rooms and accommodating staff. Our room didn't have a view, but was very quiet.

We enjoyed the convenience of this mid-town location. The staff was very accommodating, both in storing our luggage for us and giving us good directions and help to enjoy New York City. There is a nice lounge with coffee, wifi, etc. available. As with most NYC hotels, there's not a lot of room, but a fold-out chair/bed in our room...

The reviews for this hotel are spot on. The check-in is quick and easy. It’s a great location, good accommodation and very helpful staff on call in reception. A few minutes’ walk and you’re at Central park, Rockefeller just across the road. We initially had a room at the rear on the fourth floor but we were moved to the...

Super location. My wife stayed one night prior to boarding a cruise ship. Our room on the 14th floor had a window that faced Rockefeller Plaza and one that faced Radio City Music Hall. Staff was engaging and helpful. Loved it and hope to stay there again on our next trip to NYC.

I requested a room with a view and was given a corner room with two large windows and a patio overlooking Rockefeller Center! Service was fabulous and efficient and the rooms were modern and clean. I had free room WiFi, bottled water, a fridge and air conditioning. My stay at The Jewel made my first trip to New York even...

I stayed here with two of my kids (13 and 23) for 3 nights in late September. We booked a "superior room with kitchenette" for some precious extra space. We were given two twins pushed together for one bed (was expecting a queen so this worked out even better), then a fold out ottoman which was almost a twin size,...

My partner of 32 years and I stayed at the Jewel while in New York for our wedding on 9/20/13! There were a total of 10 other guest who also stayed there as well. The staff were all just wonderful to us, always greeting us and asking if all was going well and to our satisfaction. It was "Southern Hospitality"...

We stayed here after thanksgiving last year and lived the location right at Rockefeller. The full floor ceiling windows make for an enjoyable view. Go to Radio City right out the door practically. This is one of my top picks for economical places to stay in NY.

Stayed at the Jewel for six nights in June, nothing was too much trouble and the location is just the best, really central for everything. Was a bit worried about the room size after reading other reviews but there was plenty of room, we were lucky to get a room with a balcony on the 11th floor which was great....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
