First time visitor to the states and was looking forward to experiencing some of the famed American customer service. Sadly, I did not find it here. The check in staff were bordering rude and made no attempt what so ever to rectify a booking mistake caused by them. Unfortunately I had to set my alarm for 4am to call British...

Your hotel was convenient for everything we needed. We came to New York City to see a Broadway show. We took a Greyhound bus from Philadelphia and so your hotel was in walking distance as was the show. There were excellent restaurants in the area. Our rom was comfortable and adequate. We will come back.

I have to say the location of the hotel was perfect for my business needs but as far as cleanliness we were quite disappointed. The room has a very funky smell and the bathroom was dirty upon arrival old qTips on the floor.

Check in line was extremely long and not moving due to hardly anyone behind the counter helping customers. We were on edge because we were trying to make it to our boardway show on time, ended up being late. Disappointing.

Negatives to start: check in process was very lengthy and the room wasn't ready until after 4pm. We arrived at 1pm having been up since 4am (11pm est) and all we wanted was a shower!! I'd also suggest avoiding using the lift between 9 and 10 am as you could be waiting up to 20mins for it. However the positives...

Really good value for what we paid. We had some fun with the ipad that's mounted at reception. Takes 4 pictures then beams them to some arty cubes in the foyer. Reception, foyer area and elevators were really good but the room was a little shabby. A few coats of pain on the walls! It was clean and tidy enough...

I like the location of this hotel as well as the crowd that stays there as it is reasonable respectful, quiet and sophisticated. Hotel is very quiet at night rooms are dark and sleep day or night - Pizza and salads are great in the bar location in the city kitchen has anything you could want internationally. Hotel feel safe...

Great Hotel, Great Food, Sleek Modern Tech Design! Poor Staff Member At Front Desk Who Should Be Treating Repeat Customers With Better Service & A Higher Quality Of Respect. Was Going To Share To My Blog/Mobile Youth App With Over 86,000 Users But Now I Am Unsure.

Please speed up check in in order for me to consider staying here again. We started off with a bad feeling. This is not our first stay here and I have to say that I do not remember this from before especially around rush hour.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
