Our third stay at The Row confirmed our confidence once and for all it provides a quality experience for short stays in the center of the action. Convenient and clean with great security. Great access to theater, Times Square, transportation hubs, food.

We arrived around midnight. No bellhop available. We were told there was one person for the entire hotel after hours. The room we got was so different from the pictures of the rooms on the website. The carpet was filthy. You'd think you were in an entirely different hotel! You can tell that the renovation was a rush job.The worst...

I stayed 3 nights there and our stay was wonderful. Our view of NYC, room and location of hotel were perfect. They were very nice at the check-in. Only problem we had about wifi. Even if it is written free on the booking, they asked me to pay 29$ per a day and i was only disappointed about it.

Terrible organisation of checking in (took nearly an hour after travelling for 19 hours!), and took another 45 minutes to retrieve the bags from the concierge when checking out (not good when you need to get a taxi to the airport in time for your flight!). Hotel not very personal at all, foyer like an airport with too many people...

Hotel was in a great location, rooms were small but did the job as we didn't spend much time there. Check in was not great, the guy who checked us in was not friendly, didn't provide a map of the area despite the guest before us getting one. Rooms were always clean.

I stayed at Row in NYC from Oct 11-15, 2016. It is one block off Times Square in the middle of the Theater District and in the heart of all the action. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my time but this is really something. Crowds. Crowds of people milling around, checking in, checking out. Like a football match before they open the gates, except they were all pulling suitcases. Judged purely by numbers of guests this place is hugely successful. Relatively recently renovated but I don't think it's aged...

The staff was absolutely wonderful, very efficient and polite. Our room was beautiful; we had a great view; the location was super convenient. The only complaint we had was the bathroom "door." It was a sliding door that left a rather large crack on either side. It wasn't very private.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
