I am am big fan of the staff here. Always friendly and accommodating of any special request I have made -- William has helped me on a number of occasions. Property is clean. Breakfast service includes a solid, quality food & bev assortment. Fitness room would be better if not carpeted, or if a section had a vinyl floor +...

Great roof-top bar with a view of the Empire State Building...shame the bar service was a bit slow. Reception staff, Raul and the young lady serving breakfast (sorry didn't get her name)...were all very helpful. Location was good with the Big Red bus stop and subway at the end of the road on 5th Ave. We purchased the NY Pass...

Best Hotel Ever! I was scared when when I was picking a hotel to stay in because I was reading a lot of reviews about rats in a lot of the hotels. This Hyatt had all good reviews so I decided to book at this Hyatt because of the great location. I was not disappointed. I'm happy I stayed there.

The location of this hotel is near Korea town. I always felt safe. The Hotel is small. Beds are comfortable enough. They have a small lobby bar and an area in which they serve breakfast. There is also a small rooftop bar with an obscured view of the Empire State Building. The room is very small and so is the...

This Hyatt has tiny rooms and a large-hearted staff, which has brought us back five times since January! The lobby is comfortable but the rooftop is a huge draw in warm weather. Great view and a lively place to meet friends or just chill after your day. We must specifically mention Modue, Jared, Raoul, Brenda, Alicia, Sylvia and Sean as...

Small enough room, but great location and great staff. No fuss hotel when checking in and out and overall a fantastic stay. Reasonably priced for such a central location and the roof top bar is a nice touch, even if we only used it once.

The Hyatt Herald Hotel was an excellent choice based on location and proximity to the work location. Was able to walk there. Streets are safe. Not many quality restaurants within the area but within walking distance

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
