Had an small issue getting checked in because of a communication error between employees. But easily resolved and then the rest of the stay was wonderful. Recommend one of the rooms with an outside balcony and I never tried the liquor bar but the coffee bar was very good. Maybe a 5-10 minute walks to most common subway entrance.
The Draper is a fun boutique hotel within walking distance of many major attractions. We loved the new fresh look, the comfortable rooms with cold a/c, and most of all, the friendly staff. Max was especially helpful from my first call asking questions about the hotel to helping me with extra bookings due to airline changes, booking us a cab to and from the airport, giving advice on local attractions, helping us with daily needs. It's not often you find a staff that remembers you by name. Thank you to Max and the rest of the staff for making us feel welcome so far from home.
This was the best stay in Manhattan! The location is perfect in Midtown and central to the upper and lower parts of Manhattan especially if you take advantage of the subway. We really enjoyed the stay and will recommend this boutique hotel to anyone going on a trip to New York! The rooms were clean and house keeping always kept up with fresh towels and sheets. Just be sure to let the receptionist downstairs know when you’d like housekeeping scheduled! The view was still really nice from 5th Ave and the price was amazing. Hope to stay at the Draper in the future! Thank you to the Draper hotel staff and thank you to Max for all your help and kindness!
The rooms were very clean, a little tight but comfortable, Max at the front desk was super helpful, and great costumer service. Check in was a breeze, hotel staff was fabulous! So far It’s been a great experience. Good location!
Kind service. Clean comfortable room. Great location with access to all city services Good bathroom. Coffe shop in lobby and nice lounge at back of the lobby with plenty of seating and internet access access.
Hotel was clean, everyone we encountered was very nice and accommodating, The location was perfect for us as we were there for the theatre district. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. There is a coffee shop in the hotel but it didn't open till 8am which was a little late for me. Also a hotel employee by the name of Dupita was most helpful and courteous.
Spectacular, friendly service that went above and beyond! Clean spacious rooms- you might forget you are in NYC! Easy to get to, easy check in and check out, WONDERFUL! If you are going to visit New York City, stay here! Really. We had a king room, a double, and a suite- all of them were fabulous!
The location of hotel is absolutely perfect. The Broadway shows are all within 15 minutes walk, Empire State Building around the corner, several other interesting places are within walking distance. Hotel is clean, well furnished and staff is nice. Great advantage is, that there is a small café selling some pastries, sandwiches etc. for breakfast so you don´t need to go somewhere else. I highly recommended the stay here.
The hotel is convenient to all the main attractions and safe. The room is small but the bed is very comfortable and a very clean and good bath and shower. Very quick elevator and staff are friendly and helpful! There is a nice area to relax and wait for cab near the lobby.
Older Hotel. Comfortable rooms. Not very big. Only wish they had a breakfast. There is a fiid place in lobby. Just not a real breakfast. Had a great rate. No closets in room. Drawers under bed. Again small older hotel.
