This is our third Conrad - both Miami & London in 2016. Definitely the nicest and largest rooms - though I agree with other reviews about the layout being a bit odd with the shower separate from the toilet and sink. Also, the doors don't...More
With UN meetings in New York pushing most hotel room prices up, I found a reasonable rate at the Conrad. While a bit geographically undesirable for my midtown meetings, it made up for it with a quite downtown street, superbly sized room and amenities for...More

What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes
place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.

From Battery park on Bowling Green station you have 4 and 5 trains to uptown east side. From Chamber Str you have 1,2,3 trains to uptown west side. From Hilton you can walk to Brooklyn Bridge station for local 6 train. I do recommend subway. It is not beautiful but you can get everywhere for$2.75 per person. Much faster then cars. Just avoid rush hours. If you don’t have any mobility problems every subway is 10-15 min slow walk away. Subway ride to uptown attractions is 20 min. After Broadway show ,late night, just use Uber. I was living in NY for 25 years, subway is the most efficient transportation in New York. Every time I’m visiting NYC I stay in very downtown area .This is the most beautiful area in town. Hilton location is the best. Ask for suit with Jersey City view.
