On a spur we booked the Conrad wanting a nice hotel downtown. The expectation of a NYC hotel is everything the Conrad is not. The rooms were spacious in all accounts, they flowed better than expected. The lobby is expansive and airy. The location is brilliant and could not be better. The rooftop bar is renown but a tad small.

This is a fantastic location for being in the city without the nonsense of Times Square. Hotel is so beautiful, with great restaurants, entertainment, and sites nearby. This will likely be our first choice for indulgent weekends in-town.

We stayed at Conrad New York it's a beautiful hotel close by to everything. It's was a surprised about parking cost 65.00 every time you moved your car. That was horrible. Next time I know to look for parking some place else. The hotel was nice in a very good place to get around town. Lots if places to eat...

We stayed at the Conrad for three nights over Labor Day weekend. We were so impressed by the hotel and especially how wonderful and helpful the staff were. We had a very early flight into NYC and arrived at the hotel at about 8:00 a.m. We’ve done this many times with other hotels and don’t have an expectation of being...

The Conrad is the best value in Manhattan on several fronts: location, price, and room size & amenities. Location - The Conrad is located between Battery Park and TriBeCa just off the West Side Highway. It is across the street from the Freedom Tower & WTC 9/11 Museum. The Hudson River is immediately to the West and visible from many...

We recently stayed for 2 nights over Labour Day weekend. We travel to NYC fairly often, this was our 8th trip in the last 5 years. I was so excited to stay here after reading the fabulous reviews, but I was disappointed. The lobby and whole hotel has no personality, very huge and cold/modern which I guess just isn't my...

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Jillydal. We are thrilled you had a chance to join us over Labor Day weekend and wonderful to read that you travel avidly to NYC. The hotel was great staff was very friendly, when our luggage arrived in the room the attendant had a map on hand of the city and explained the subway to us and made suggestions on what to do and when. The only down side to the hotel the rooftop bar was always at capacity, the sleeper sofa had a blowup...

Thank you, Brandi. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit with us and had a positive experience with our hotel colleagues. Unfortunately, our Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar is very popular and does get very busy. However, we suggest arriving earlier (the rooftop opens at noon), so that you are guaranteed seats. Also, the sofa beds generally are very comfortable...

Conrad made our daughter's 7th birthday an absolutely incredible experience. We surprised her with a trip to American Girl and a stay at Conrad. When we got to the hotel all the things I have requested were already waiting for us. To top off the most incredible trip, Conrad sent a sweet surprise for my daughter: we received chocolate covered...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
