Centrally located in the heart of midtown Manhattan in the NoMad district, we are known for our spacious guest rooms, moderate room prices, great room views and warm, friendly customer service. We are currently a 3 1/2 star hotel that offers 4 star customer service. Our guestrooms were last renovated in 2016 and we are planning to renovate the guest rooms once again and also gut and renovate the bathrooms starting in 2022. When completed, we will be a 4 star hotel in all aspects. We just completed an exterior renovation and reopened the hotel in August 2020 with a brand new hotel entrance way and signage and a spectacular new 4 star lobby. Enlarged almost 5 times in size, it offers an open, warm and inviting elegance and features 16 foot ceilings, the addition of a mezzanine level library/seating area and custom made hand blown glass chandeliers and sconces from renowned glass artisan, Seth Parks. All other public space was last renovated in March, 2016 and will be renovated once again starting in 2022. We offer an easy and convenient location with multiple subway stops within 1-3 blocks of the hotel. Many rooms offer great views of the Empire State Building and we are always one of the city's best room values, year round. We provide 24 hour self serve fresh ground Starbucks coffee and Lipton tea in our 4th floor lounge. Wi Fi is complimentary to all guests. I had the pleasure of staying twice at the Broadway Plaza Hotel in May-June 2021 -- 5 days with my husband, and another 5 days with a friend. My husband and I had a room with an amazing view of the Empire State Building; we loved to lie back and watch the light show at night. The rooms were quite nice and very clean, not especially large, but who wants to spend time in their room while in New York? The hotel itself is small and intimate; I guess it could be called a boutique hotel. It was renovated fairly recently, and the lobby area is lovely. The staff is very friendly and responsive which really makes the place feel like a home away from home. The rates are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the rooms and service. The location on Broadway at 27th Street is perfect, midway between Midtown Manhattan and all the interesting neighborhoods to be found downtown. The neighborhood of the hotel itself is now a happening place called NoMad, and I definitely would recommend a stroll over to Madison Square Park. Enjoying an ice cream cone, the soft summer breezes, and sounds of the city while sitting on a park bench there one evening was a real highlight for me.

There were so many things that I loved about this hotel. It was a great location. We could walk to any sites, and it was easy to get to. The hotel staff was absolutely wonderful. They greeted us every time we entered and exited, and always asked us how our stay was going. They really went above and beyond. I like this hotel because it was convenient, but the most important part, everyone was so friendly. The rooms were fantastic, we got a double queen, and the set up was awesome. There was a TV in the middle, and the room was quite large. The hotel was also very clean. During Covid, that is very important. We could tell that they were constantly cleaning and sanitizing everything. In the evening, there was a wonderful pizza place that was close by, as well as outback, chipotle, and a few other places. In the morning we grab Starbucks which was right across the street which is convenient. Definitely a wonderful place to stay, and we are looking forward to going back as a family again.

NY mask mandate not enforced for employs or customers. I questioned the manager about it and he defended EE’s not wearing masks all while his mask was way below his nose and falling off his face. Clearly didn’t care even tho they told us it was required at all times (also posted on signs everywhere). We checked out the next morning. We booked a different hotel closer to Central Park for even less who verified they enforced the mandate for everyone’s health. 😃 Rooms were nice enough but staff sucked.

We stayed between 4th-9th December 2021. We absolutely loved this hotel. Conveniently located and room was very spacious. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. We were on the 11th floor and had the most amazing view of the Empire State Building. We loved lying in bed at night looking out the window. It added to the feeling of ‘I can’t believe we are actually here’. Safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer all within room. Nespresso Coffee machine and water provided. Bed super comfy which is really important for good night rest. It can be a bit noisy at night but it’s NYC, what else can you expect. My husband went to reception and they provided ear plugs. Nothing too much trouble. We visited at Christmas which was so magical. Get a subway pass as this allowed us to see even more during our stay. Hotel staff kept our bags after checkout so we could go and explore on our final day. When we checked out, the doorman asked if we had booked transfers via hotel. I didn’t even know they done this. Not sure how much it would cost but worth exploring. We would 100% return to NYC and I would absolutely book the Broadway Plaza again.
