We were in town for a conference and a bit hesitant on the location. It was fabulous! Walked to NYU area, Chelsea, broadway show, jazz at Columbus Circle. Granted weather was good but the location is perfect! IF not a walked the subway is easy and close.

Really convenient Mid-Town location, quiet, well serviced, clean and firendly place to stay. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Stayed in a King Room which was of a decent size with seating area albeit bathroom was on the smaller side. Would recommend.

Chandler prior to renovation was a very nice property. After renovation even better. Rooms are nice, bath superb, multilingual staff a definite asset, cosy atmosphere, complimentary coffee, tea. I have already recommended the Chandler, and will stay with you in the future. Thank you all. Allen Eli Segal.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Chandler. With so much choice it is not an easy decision deciding where to stay in Manhattan but are pleased we chose this hotel. Just a short walk to the Empire State building and nearest subway station. You can tell that the hotel has recently undergone a very smart renovation and it feels luxurious...

i would stay at The Chandler again although I would look at other options first; albeit at the price it is a good hotel. For a 'boutique' hotel it is a little tired in some areas. The public areas are nice enough, but, for example, the bedroom furniture in my room was dated and the carpet worn. My room had...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
