Small room - think your college dorm room but cute. The bench seating is awesome; there is very little wasted space in the room. Hard to spot on the street as the entrance is subdued compared to the Sofitel a few doors down. Comfortable stay. 5 blocks or so from Grand Central Station. Good restaurant downstairs. No view, at least...

I recently moved to Boston from NYC and now when I go back for work, I generally just need a place to crash. So I don't need much room. This hotel was fantastic. I had one of the petite rooms and it was more than enough room. The bathroom was large.. the water pressure was good... and the bed was...

The purpose of our trip was to celebrate my 30th birthday and was also part of our 'baby-moon'. Our first impressions of the hotel was that it looked smart but was very small. We originally booked a double bed room, however, as soon as we entered the room we knew it was way too small for our 5 night stay,...

I decided to surprise my partner for his Birthday with a night on the town with a few drinks, dinner, and a romantic evening in the city where we don't have to commute back home and mar the mood. Its hard not to give the hotel 5 stars when you were in the best room of the house. The "Grand...

This hotel is centrally located, convenient to theaters, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. The rooms are spacious with lovely amenities, fluffy beds, and, in our room, a couch along one wall. They have a table and chair and plenty of room for writing or reading. The staff is polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. My daughter and I spent one night at...

I stayed here one night for business and liked the hotel a lot. I was upgraded from a "petite" 1-bed room to a larger room for no charge which was nice. The modern room was beautiful and the bathroom was very distinctive with an all-glass shower although I wish there had been a spot to set my toiletries other than...

My husband and I spent one night at the City Club. We arrived early, several hours before check-in. The woman at the front desk could not have been nicer or more professional. She offered to store our luggage until our room was ready, and she also gave us the option of an upgrade to a larger room for a small...

The City Club is a boutique hotel. I prefer smaller hotels, I find the service more personal and the service here is excellent. Every front of house staff member were genuine and friendly, but then so was the lady who turned down the beds and left warm chocolate cookies for us. Little things like this make a huge difference. The...

Sooo comfortable. Beautiful facility. Centre of town. Minutes from Times Square. Elegant bath and comfortable clean room. The cookies were a special treat. They held on to our luggage since we arrived early and they delivered the luggage to our room once we checked in. Everyone is friendly. Thank you!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
