Almost on the corner of 57th Street and 6th Avenue, a half-minute walk from the F subway line, which runs from Jamaica to Brooklyn, and therefore very easy to reach for those landing at JFK.
Very spacious room: comfortable king size bed, 3-seater sofa, large wardrobe and chest of drawers, huge TV.
Particularly appreciated the absence of carpeting on the floor, and the presence of Nespresso machine, daily stocked with coffee pods of different qualities, including decaffeinated (every day were also left in the room 2 bottles of water half a liter).
Large shower and quality toiletries.
Hot coffee and tea are available in the lobby in the morning.
The area is beautiful and quiet, a stone's throw from Central Park. Taking advantage of a limited time offer, we paid 30% less than full price for the room, which is like a 3-star hotel in Penn Station.
Our stay at The Quin was very pleasant, Recommendation.

Had a wonderful stay here. Everything was top notch. Clean, friendly professional staff, beautiful room. So conveniently located to attractions, shopping and transportation. So many options for restaurants close by Central Park is right around the corner and Bryant Park is in walking distance.
We will be back

My Husband and I stayed at this hotel 29th Apr-5th May. The Check in Experience was really easy and the staff were friendly. The room was huge for a room in New York. Bathroom was very modern was a nice enclosed shower room - very bright and came with complementary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel which essential for us as our Airline lost our baggage for two days.

Main room was very nicely furnished with a big bed, Wardrobe and Sofa. The room was also very clean and housekeeping made the bed and gave us new towels each day.

Although other reviews with a view into the court yard have complained about dreariness - i found it to be completely fine. If i wanted a room with a view i would have either paid for it or went just went outside.....

Good food spots around and central park is on your doorstep. The Rockefeller centre is not far away either. If you are going more far a field its very close to a subway to get you where you need to go.

We stayed for a weekend getaway. 1BR Premier (1BX) was more spacious than we expected.
The main bathroom had a large soaking tub, shower, toilet and decent size vanity w/sink. There was also a 1/2 bath in the living room area. The bedroom had a large dresser with 2 nightstands, and the room did not feel cramped. The closet was small, but there was space to store luggage in the bed frame and in the entrance hallway.
The living room area had a sofa (comfortable sleeper), side chair, a console with storage and cabinet with refrigerator, coffee machine and storage drawers.
The hotel's midtown location is great for walking and has easy subway access to all points uptown and downtown. Our 5th floor room was great for short elevator rides but prepare for normal NYC evening street noise.
There is no restaurant, bar or market at the hotel, but there are plenty of places just outside the hotel doors.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very well located, everything is close by and Central Park is just a block away, the location is truly incredible. At check-in we were well attended to by reception, but unfortunately the credit card machine did not accept the Wise card, I tried several times and ended up paying with another card. It is a common problem in several establishments in NY, the machine rejects the Wise card, it is not a problem with the bank but with the machine, I found it there in NY and in contact with the bank. Other than this problem, I have nothing to complain about the hotel. We arrived early and as soon as the room was free they called us to let us know, well before the stipulated check-in time. The room is small but very cozy, the bathroom is very good, wonderful shower. The housekeeping service is impeccable, everything is always clean and well organized. The Nespresso capsules were always replenished, as was the mineral water, which were courtesy of the hotel. The super polite and competent couriers called my taxi at the agreed time and were always willing to help. I would definitely go back.

Not a bad club/hotel and the location is stellar. As a club, it might not have the full hotel service and amenities, but it comes close!

The staff is pretty good and the experience is even better if you're an owner. The owner's lounge finally has food and drinks as well. Building is beautiful and really is a piece of history that's been preserved, with beautiful pieces of artwork throughout the building!

For owners, breakfast can be had from 7-10:30 am. There's essentially only one hot food item involving eggs, oatmeal too if that counts. Rest is an assortment of pastries, bread, fruits, and yogurts. Coffee and juice (orange and cranberry) is also available. Water and soda is in the fridge. Breakfast could be better, but guessing Hilton has strict rules around this as all Hilton breakfast across hotels and timeshares seem pretty similar. Wish Quin can be a bit bolder and serve something more delicious than bagels and liquid eggs, however.

I've yet to visit cocktail hour due to my schedule, but believe it's from 5-7pm for owners.

Rooms are a mixed bag. Twice, I've checked in to find my sink clogged up by the last guest, and this visit I ended up sleeping almost at 3 am waiting for it to be fixed (I did checked in late after a delayed flight). It still drains slowly, but at least it works.

Some units also have the smoke alarm directly above the bed. They also used the type that has a bright green blinking nightlight, which is extremely distracting as you're staring right at it. Wish someone thought this out a bit better so we can sleep in peace.

Overall, some bits that can still be very well improved, but the Quin has been continuously getting better and hiring helpful, friendly staff. Well recommend a visit.

We experienced many positives and only a couple of niggles with our 7 night stay so overall a really great experience and we’d stay again.

Location is great, we’re seasoned visitors to NYC so were comfortable staying somewhere less in the middle of things. Hotel still feels central though as it’s on W57 St, on the corner of 6 Ave, a block away from Central Park, a 10 minute walk to either Rockefeller Centre/Radio City or the 5 Ave shops.

Facilities wise, the room was really nice, the bed was huge and very comfortable. Room safe, fridge and coffee machine all provided. Only issue with the room was the soundproofing, other than the obligatory and expected street noise there is heavy construction going on just up the road. Unfortunately we were disturbed on a morning a few times by cement mixers and heavy building machinery right outside. We heard very little noise from other rooms, other than plumbing - the noise from the showers in neighbouring rooms could be quite loud and woke us a few times. Not much the hotel could do about this during our stay.

The hotel doesn’t have a bar or restaurant, which felt a bit odd but there are plenty of alternatives on the door step (try Brooklyn Diner a little way up the road towards 8th Ave- it’s amazing!) and this is NYC and you don’t travel to this amazing city to sit in your hotel! All staff we encountered were lovely, although other than check in/check out and speaking to the door staff, we didn’t have much cause to speak to anyone.

I’d give this a strong 8.5 out of 10.

If I could give this hotel less than a one I would, but let me explain the experience I had at the Quin, New York.

Imagine being on a plane to New York landing and going to find the address for the hotel that you made a reservation for over a month in advance only to see that your reservation has been canceled. You immediately call the hotel and they cannot tell you why and they cannot help . What would you do?

With an event that evening, which I had let the Hotel know well in advance I now had no place to stay… So I booked a different hotel. Earlier in the week I got a call from the hotel because they were concerned that there was a fire in my hometown, and they were concerned that I would not be showing up for the reservation . I called them back and let them know that I would be there. In addition. I also use the online chat to let them know that I would be coming in needing to rush to get to an event and they said that was fine. However, when I landed in New York, there was no longer reservation and nobody could help me.

The next day I spent several hours on the telephone trying to call the hotel, Central reservations customer care and nobody can help me. Nobody can tell me why the reservation was canceled and why I was charged for the hotel stay everyone kept saying that wasn’t their department, They weren’t the ones in charge. I had to call somebody else.

Fast-forward to three days later, About five hours of time wasted trying to get this issue, resolved on to find that I have been told that the cancellation policy was not followed and therefore I was charged for the hotel stay. How can I cancel the reservation when I am in mid flight, in route to New York? There has been no apology. There has been no help. This has been the worst experience I have ever had and my loyalty to Hilton is dwindling rapidly.

Save yourself a headache. There are tons of places that have excellent customer service, but this is not one of them.

When I arrived at the hotel at six in the morning, the front desk personnel were really unpleasant and made us feel uncomfortable while we waited for our room in the back lobby. They informed us that we had to move since guests would be arriving for coffee. On two different days, construction was occurring with a lot of noise and cardboard and board on the floor at the door to the room. I spoke with the assistant general manager and the front office manager. On day two, the assistant general manager implied that no work was being done. I have been at Hilton for more than 20 years, and I have never had such a bad experience. Poor as hell!
See pictures and I should have recorded the banging noise before 10 am. We were never informed of construction prior to arrival, and they have refused to refund 2 nights

A fantastic clean and comfortable hotel just 2 minutes walk from Central Park. I prefer to stay closer to Central Park but that is my preference, it’s only about a 15/20 minute walk to Time Square and there is a subway station right on the corner of the hotel. I thought the hotel was perfect location clean and very comfortable the house keeping team were excellent and always supplied us with 2 fresh bottles of water every morning. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, we booked a deluxe 1 king bed plus It was spacious with a large walk in shower, We had a city view room as we requested and the black out blinds did a great job of blocking out any light . We did hear the road noise but this is Manhattan and I’ve come to expect to hear some road noise. I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be booking The Quin for our next trip to New York.

They will probably let a baby in with a couple. If you need more than a bed, Best to ask hotel directly. I believe the studios usually don't have a sofa bed, much less a sofa (maybe a one seater).

Based on a conversation I had with the staff I don’t expect the construction to be over for a while. For my budget, I liked the location for the price. It definitely wasn’t a 5 star hotel and it’s sort of small but I felt it was adequate and clean.
