In fact, this is the kind of totally positive hotel review it kind of breaks my heart to write, because of worrying that I'll send so many guests their way we'll never get to stay here again. Yes, it's that good. We had the Serenity Room downstairs, and it was, hands-down, the nicest hotel room we've ever stayed in --...

Booked this room for my Chinese friends. 3 of us stayed at this room with two beds, toilet, sink, very comfortable. The bathroom is shared, but just in the corner at the same floor. Every morning, the house owner Tressi prepares us warm breakfast with eggs, bacon, bread, fruits, milk and coffee. When she knows that Chinese eats noodle for...

Tressi is an ideal host. She's warm, friendly, and approachable, but never makes you feel obligated to interact with her when you need to do your own thing. When I arrived, she showed me around to ensure I'd find anything I needed. As for the place itself, it's a great old Brownstone, filled with charm and history. The furnishings are...

My friend and I booked a week at the Heart between May 11th - 18th. Tressie is a wonderful hostess who is extremely proud of her beautiful home which is situated within easy walking distance of a subway station and local shops. Each room at the Heart is an individual work of art and has been lovingly restored. Breakfast is...

Located in the heart of Harlem, this B&B excells in all aspects of comfort, attention to detail, and loving hospitality. A turn of the 19th century brownstone, each room is decorated differently with ecclectic antiques, and memorabilia. The host is very attentive, and acts as your own personal concierge. Heart of Harlem is conveniently located with easy access public transportation....

The Heart of Harlem will please any traveller, but specially those of you looking for something different from the typical, touristy experience. Located in the lively Harlem, the B&B is nothing but a peaceful place where to rest. Very quiet during the nights and in the mornings! You're between main metro lines (10&15 mins away by walk) and also you...

I bought a 2 night stay at the Heart of Harlem as a gift, mostly because of the excellent Trip Advisor reviews, it did not disappoint. My family came back singing the house as well as Tressi praises. Here some of what they said: The place was beautifully renovated, and spotlessly clean, Tressi was a wonderful host.
