From the moment we walked in until the time we left, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We loved the lobby restaurant and were lucky enough to experience the rooftop. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Since it opened my husband only stays at this hotel when he goes to work in NYC, the location is wonderful in the Financial District! I have stayed with him a few times and the rooms are very comfortable, they really care about every single detail. The fact that it is a brand new hotel is a highlight as most hotels in the city are very old. The decor is very beautiful and modern. Also the staff is super attentive which makes the stay even better. Whenever I can I will come back.

Our family loved our visit at the Water St Hotel Indigo! Sleek, modern, CLEAN, quiet, comfortable room and friendly, professional staff! I can’t think of anything more you want in a hotel except maybe free breakfast. (There is a Starbucks across the street though) When we requested more washcloths for our second day, within 5 mins someone was at our door delivering them.
The hotel is located a 5-10 min walk to the subway. We had early check in (requested prior to visit) and they held our bags after check out. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Room upgrade with balcony
Good breakfast and restaurant staff very friendly, even under pressure
Perfect location
Good price/value, if booked in advance

Contacted customer prior charge credit cards, I had to pay lots of fees for a foreign card I've used for the deposit transactions, after been told twice that it would have to be used "only for the deposit" and no signs of this payment on the IHG website.
I've had to call IHG call centers four times and raise a case about a deposit been taken 1 month in advance without any notice and the guy told me nothing could be done, same answers from the reception when I mentioned the issue, "it has to do with IHG" and IHG told "you have to speak to the hotel". At the end of this story who had to pay transaction fees was me, thanks.
You should improve your reception staff, starting from the guy called Orlando, very rude answers and not caring at all.
Cleaners staff was forgetting one or two items per day. One day I didn't have shampoo and body shower, another day missing towels and after I phoned reception a non English speaker woman came to my room without notice and said that she couldn't come back another time.
2 elevators are definitely not enough for 25 floors and hundreds rooms, especially on weekends.
Hire someone for the weekend s breakfast, the staff was clearly struggling even with the reception guy helping them!

All hotels in Manhatten going for $800-$2,000/night earlier this week due to the UN General Aseembly — even the crappiest hotels that normally charge $150/night.

I paid less sub-$500/night to stay at this lovely new Indigo. Was it worth $500/night? No. But when the only other choices were rundown hotels going for $1000, then this was a real bargain.

Fantastic staff, clean (small) rooms, nice bathroom amenities.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again during normal times when it goes for sub $200/night.

Would we stay again: Yes if we get a good rate.
Rooms are small as you would expect in NY. Nice bathroom (well, shower room). Great towels (and face cloths too which is always a plus in my book). Comfy bed. Housekeeping very good - room was spotless.

Very limited space in the room for your suitcases and a tiny wardrobe space really only seemingly meant for a stay like we did for a couple of nights - you could really only hang up one jacket, trousers/skirt & shirt/blouse for two people.

We stayed here because of the location which is excellent just off Wall St so easy to walk to the east or west side subway trains. And a short walk down to the Staten Island Ferry.

Flight canceled. No flights until the next day. Current hotel was fully booked. Able to reserve last minute room. Marissa at the front desk was very accommodating to our situation and extremely nice. Rooms are small but are clean, fairly new, decorated well, and comfortable. Would recommend bringing a hanging bathroom organizer due to limited shelf space.

This is perhaps the most modern, comfortable, clean, and accommodating hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From a perfect location in downtown Manhattan to amazing perks and amenities, the Hotel Indigo at 120 Water Street in NYC checks off all the boxes if you want an A+ hotel experience. We were greeted by a very friendly and informative front desk clerk, and at that moment I knew the stay would be wonderful. Sleek rooms with a modern touch, centralized location, a rooftop bar, and immaculate conditions, this place has a clean and classy essence. Prices are more than competitive for the area, and the services really put it over the top. 5/5 no question.

My husband and I spent President's day weekend at the hotel and it was just lovely. The hotel is brand new and has the most amazing scent. We usually stay in midtown when we come to Manhattan, but decided to stay downtown for a change of scenery and less crowds. The staff was so warm and welcoming and the best part is that it is close to many great restaurants - especially Pier 17. The restaurant in the lobby isn't open yet, but it looks beautifully designed. The staff said it would be opening very soon. Definitely will be returning to try it out!

FIRST REVIEW!!! Dear Marissad801, Thank you very much for the amazing 5 star review. I am happy to know that you decided to change a little this time, booking in FiDi instead of Midtown, and thank you for choosing Hotel Indigo NYC Downtown - Wall Street. The Financial District is very special, there is so much history in here and the proximity with the water gives us the sense of calm and relaxation that is so necessary in these days. Thank you for complimenting our staff, I cannot wait to share your comments with the entire team. As they have mentioned, our restaurant Buttonwood and rooftop bar High Water will be opening soon, we are very excited about it. We look forward to welcoming you and your husband sometime soon! Safe travels, Claudio Pereira General Manager

Brand new hotel just opened on December 9th. My team and I stayed there and all of our rooms were super clean and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. The restaurant and bar is not open yet but they offered a complimentary continental breakfast with fresh pastries from a local bakery. Highly recommend for your next stay in lower Manhattan.
