The hotel is in a quiet street that leads to Times Square in a few meters, it is impossible to find accommodation in a better location at these prices in New York. Spacious room with beds arranged on two levels. Large and very comfortable beds. The bathroom is very spacious and elegant. The shower was fantastic. The staff were really very very kind, as well as always being available for any need, they offered us bottles of water and sweets for our little daughter several times. For average New York prices it also has excellent value for money.

I did my research, this hotel was great! Quiet rooms, air con (one thing it did seem to have weird smells occasionally come from it - not sure if this is something to do with where the air was coming from or the neighbours.
Staff are very polite and helpful, you can store your bags and there is always security on the door so you feel very safe.
The shower is amazing! However bring a shower cap if you don’t wish to wash your hair every time you use it. I read this in another review so I was prepared. The water flow is great, and in the current heat it was welcome.
Our room was cleaned every day, and yes they feel a bit tight - but it’s New York and you get good space by the sink and the wardrobes. Plenty of storage space for bags under the bed and bathroom is modern and well designed.
We didn’t pay city taxes as included in our booking via booking dot com.
I would recommend to anyone who wants somewhere local to Times Square that is quiet, with good air con and friendly staff. You get a small fridge in the room, a kettle with tea & coffee. Ours included 2 bottles of water which was a nice touch.

Upon check-in the desk clerk was very pleasant and made check in very easy and quick . That is what impressed us most was the very nice employees . Always there to help you with directions , subway information , ordering a car to the airport and Gorge with his very friendly demeanor. The rooms though are the smallest room I have ever booked in New York . The shower is literally open to the very tiny room as is the sink and very tiny vanity . There is definitely no privacy . The bed was up against the wall actually three walls that’s how small the room is . One person had to climb over the other person to leave the bed so if u have mobility problems this is not the hotel for you . The location is very good , close to theaters , restaurants and literally a half block from Times Square. If the size of room doesn’t bother you , this may be the hotel for you . Water replaced daily in ur refrigerator, ( thank you ) ice water in the lobby as well as fresh apples . A few days there was live music in the lobby ( which is also very small ) some people who are lucky enough get a little goody bag of treats on arrival which we didn’t get . Would I stay here again ? Only if I was traveling alone ! For the price I expected more , even for New York .

This was our 4th trip to NYC in 4 years. As in previous trips, we looked for a hotel that was conveniently located near Times Square, seemed modern and safe, and had competitive pricing (just under $1,400 for our 5-night / 6-day stay).
Doing our hotel search, we came across 45 Times Square and it checked all our boxes. We booked online through the hotel’s website and arrived in NYC a few weeks later.
We found the hotel to be conveniently located, just one block off of Times Square. The hotel was clean and modern, staff were friendly and professional, the elevators were speedy, and our room was comfortable, quiet, roomy enough and well equipped.
The only criticism I had during our stay was that other than the for-a-fee buffet breakfast, the hotel did not have a restaurant / bar / cafe / concession / coffee stand. This would have been a nice amenity, but wasn’t a deal breaker because there was a restaurant / bar next to the hotel, a bodega next to the bar, another bar and a Starbucks across the street along with food trucks about half a block away. Typical NYC with many options within easy walking distance.
All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in NYC. It’s a great balance of all the variables a traveler looks for. If the prices don’t go up significantly as we’ve seen at other hotels, this would be the place we would come back to on our next trip.

Hubby and I stayed 5 nights at this hotel, and it was fab from the beginning to the end of our visit. All the staff we encountered were very professional, courteous and helpful. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable - yes, there is a 'plinth' around the bed which may not suit everyone, particularly visitors with mobility issues, but that aside, the bed was very comfortable with 2 fluffy pillows each. The bathroom was lovely with a walk-in shower with hot water and a rainfall shower head - total bliss after a full day walking for miles in NYC. Lovely clean towels and toiletries. They have a luggage storage area, ideal when you have a mid evening flight home. Thank you for an excellent stay, we have no hesitation in staying at this hotel when next in NYC.

I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone with mobility issues. The rooms are narrow and the beds are mounted on platforms that span the full width of the room meaning that to get to the far side you have to crawl across the bed instead of walking around on the floor. My wife and I are in our 60’s and this crawling business was not only difficult for us but it had the potential to wake a sleeping partner as we both tend to get up once or twice in a night. Furthermore this platform extends 6” on the inside edge making it awkward to sit on the side of the bed, which is necessary because there is only one (uncomfortable) chair. I will say that the bed was comfortable once we got settled and I slept quite well the two nights we stayed. When we first discovered the platform I asked to switch rooms but was told that they are all set up this way.
On the plus side The hotel is just 1/2 a block from Times Square so if that’s what you’re here for the location could hardly be better. Many good restaurants within a short walk. The staff were courteous and friendly and the checkin/out policy is good and they will happily store your luggage for you if you have free time at either end of your stay.

This hotel is located right next to Times Square which means it’s central but also in a very busy block. Our room was on the 14th floor and no noise bothered us that high up (apart from emergency vehicles etc louder noises). Good aircon, comfy bed, big bathroom (our room was King). Shower was so big and had a threshold so the whole bathroom didn’t get wet when showering. We had some minor maintenance issues in our room that were not fixed despite multiple contacts to the reception and housekeeping but they weren’t too bad. Walking distance to multiple subway stations, buses and attractions. Would I go to New York again, I would stay at this hotel again. A big plus for a fridge and fresh cold water bottles whenever our room was cleaned!

I have stayed with my wife from November 28 to December 6, and I have to say that my evaluation is extremely positive. It is true that for those who escape from the hustle and bustle, it may not be the most recommended location because it is located in the heart of Manhattan, in the heart of Times Square, but on the other hand, I believe that there are more advantages that this location provides. As for the rooms, I have to say that they are very spacious, the cleanliness is absolute, and no detail is missing. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to add a hand-held faucet to the shower, for those occasions when we want to avoid getting our head wet, but otherwise, as I say, I think everything is perfect. And as for the service, I would also give it a good grade, since the attention is absolutely impeccable. I must point out that in our case, a failure in the service occurred, I believe due to error or misinterpretation, but it was duly assumed by the management, who was concerned at all times to compensate us for it, and I understand that precisely These situations only confirm the quality and attention of the establishment. In short, 45 TimesSquare seems like a great option to stay on any visit to New York, and I recommend it.

I travelled with my daughter who is 10 and stayed 2 nights! Our room was ready to check in early & every member of staff treated you like you was the only customer.
I travelled whilst 4 months pregnant and all staff were so attentive.
Our room was upgraded and the bed so comfortable.
We left our luggage after we checked out and this was taken care of straight away no queue for check out! Just how I like it!
The Ricardo was also helpful with taking care of our bags. Will definitely book this hotel again & tell everyone about it when I get back to the UK.
