I had a great stay here for one night. In fact, it's probably one of my favorite properties in Manhattan. I think I paid around $130 for a night (before taxes) by bidding on Priceline.com.
The neighborhood wouldn't be my favorite, but the subway accessibility...More
We stumbled into town late and arrived in the rain around 11 pm. Had to wait a bit at the front desk as they had two large parties with issues. Our wait was rewarded, however, when they upgraded us to a corner suite on the...More
All the right things: nice clean room, friendly service, convenient location and a view of the new Tower. This hotel gave us easy access to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum as well as South Street Seaport and the docks.

For my first stay, I arrived at 2:30am. I was taken care of immediately.
Overall, the rooms are clean, the views (if you're facing west over the World Trade Center and Hudson River) are spectacular, and it's convenient to transportation.
Except for the location, this hotel has seen better days. Nearest to 9/11 museum, freedom tower, subway station. Walking distance to battery park, ferries to liberty/Ellis island.
The cons: hotel needs a remodel, worn carpet in places, spotty customer service - especially front office. Deserted...More

Catch the Staten Island Ferry for an unbeatable view of the skyline and Statue of Liberty, or sail to Ellis

We saw reviews mentioning valet parking was expensive so we found a garage within about 5 mins with spothero. It will cost $30 for 24 hours or $20 for 12 hours if you book it on Spothero. Otherwise its really no savings compared to valet. Address where we parked was 50 West Broadway New York, NY. It is the 75th Park Place Garage.
