I only stayed for one day at this hotel but is now my new favorite hotel in NYC after The Peninsula hotel. You feel the Classy and elegance ambiance as soon as you walk in. I stayed at their King Suite. Amazing room with floor to ceiling windows. Staff is very nice for NewCity attitude so that's a good sign...

We really enjoyed our stay at the NoMad last week. All our expectations were met or surpassed, when it comes to service (except one time when room service was delayed), amenities (restaurant/bars), location, etc. Such a beautiful building and unique rooms were highlights as well. The beds were unbelievable comfortable. Pretty much all positives, the only thing I would like...

I have stayed in this hotel 3 nights during my business trip and I can really highly recommend it. The staff is really helpful and very professional. My room was big enough, with comfortable bed, big enough for two. Shower, desk, not enough space for clothing but I could handle it. I had windows facing Broadway, no problems with noise.

Creativity, multiculturalism, style, small spaces, busy people, ridiculous prices, all typical New York elements are gathered at NoMad. The atmosphere is rather dark and very sophisticated, although a bit artificial (in the library a stylish spiral staircase leads to nowhere), the restaurant serves good and diversified food, the bar is terrific. Service, especially in the restaurant, could be better, and...

we wanted to stay somewhere in Flatiron district, as had a wedding anniversary reservation nearby at one of restaurants. LOVE LOVE this hotel, staff was quite helpful and friendly. We loved hanging out in the library bar for our nightcap drinks and the brunch next morning nearby in a sunny high ceiling room was awesome. Def will return, as there...

This is MY hotel when I am in NY, ok? So don't get cute and start booking so much that I can't get a room. Intimate and sexy NY hotel, centrally located to get you easily to the Whitney or uptown. Coolest of rooms and oh so accommodating staff... if you are a frequent visitor they log your room preferences...

The hotel is beautiful and in a very good location. The service is fantastic, the room fine and extra comfortable. The bed, in particular, was perfect. And the cleanliness impeccable. Only one regret, my stay was too short.

I spend 4 nights here and enjoyed everything except the restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room is absolutely first rate with everything you could need. Free Internet. Plenty of space. A desk to work on. Great bathtub right in the room. My room had a view of the Empire State Building. Easy walk to the Village....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The NoMad Hotel is housed in a turn of the century Beaux-Arts building that has been fully restored to its original grandeur with interiors by French designer Jacques Garcia. The hotel is intended as a fresh take on the classic grand hotels of Europe with a distinct New York sensibility. The design of the hotel was inspired by the Parisian flat of Garcia’s youth. The 168 rooms are residential in feel and decorated in his classic, timeless style. Each room is appointed with hand-selected, richly textured custom-designed furnishings and original artwork. The soaring ceilings throughout the public spaces provide a fine gathering place to enjoy dining, drinking and socializing. ... more   less
