I don't know where to start with this Hell Hole please whatever you do STAY AWAY. To start the room is less than half the size a dorm with no windows and bed from 1950s. There was a tv with 3 channels, 2 in Chinese. If rather spend a night in a Chinese Jail then to return PLEASE do not...

I'm not sure where to start. Worst "hotel" I have ever seen. I had the pleasure of lugging my suitcase to the 5th floor to then enter a room too small to contain it. The room was dirty and very very small. The shared bathrooms were horrendous! Blocked toilets, hair and pee everywhere and a truly formiddable smell. We refused...

i stayed here recently, having read all the dire reviews, but i'm tenacious, needed somewhere cheap and very short notice so didn't feel like i had much choice. but i think any hostel or b&b would be preferable. the other reviews have it pretty much covered - in the single rooms, if you're taller than 5'6" you won't be able...

The worst hotel in the world. So bad that I left my bags there and slept on the floor at JFK after one night. Filthy, tiny rooms, My entire room was smaller than a double bed. Cheap as it is, it's not worth it. It's the hotel equivalent of eating soil.

This is the worst place even for the price. Singles on the 5th floor with no elevator carrying all your luggage, toilets always clogged with vomit and feces. Room the size of the bed with no room for luggage you hauled up the stairs. Moldy bathrooms, dirty sheets, paper thin walls- you will hear every snore and people having sex....

Caling this a hotel just does not seem plausable. The name for this type of establishment has not been invented yet. I had pretty low expectations going in knowing that the price for a NYC was quite low, but little did I know - even THAT was a rip off. Basically the space in the building has been partitioned into...

The worst. Aside from problems I can live with (the room was as long as the bed and about 2 feet wider), here are the main complaints: -Internet was barely functional. -No elevator and I was on the 5th floor. Glad I only had a backpack! -Both toilets on my floor were clogged. I didn't want to write the word...

The rooms are dirty with some red stains I guess blood on the the walls and cigarette butts on the stairs. The restrooms were noting but dirty and the whole experience was discontentment, I was over charged and was given different room and above all treated with extreme aggression.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
