Small room, but clean and comfortable. Not in Soho (technically the hotel is on the border of Chinatown and Tribeca) but it's still a good location near two subway lines. Bring your ear plugs if you're not accustomed to the sounds of the city because you'll be on Canal Street where the traffic noise is loud and constant. Pleasant front...

Our room was on the small side but perfect for a girls weekend. The bathroom was extremely large, The decor was bright & cheery and very clean. We opened our window and got the really feel of NYC. It was a great room for the price.

I stayed here for a quick trip to see some broadway shows. It is NOT in Soho as the name suggests, but the address on Canal Street should let you know it's in Chinatown. I've stayed in this area before, so I knew what to expect. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that they were resurfacing...

At first I was worried because it says soho/China town....I've lived in NYC before so after looking at the map I was alright with its location. It is Chinatown but across the street is where soho begins which has a lot of shopping. I was a little worried about traffic because there is a lot of traffic to go to Holland...

This hotel is very quaint and old, but re-done. Nice bathrooms and bedrooms! On Canal street close to SOHO, Little Italy, Chinatown, Subway. We had 2 single beds that were THE MOST COMFORTABLE beds ever! Would definitely stay here again. (Front desk said the hotel had been purchased recently and more upgrades and improvements are forthcoming.

In the middle of Canal Street, between Broadway and Lafayette Street. Chinatown to one side, Little Italy to the other. Several connections to subway. Great wifi, safe on the room and coffee/tea machine. No meals included but guests get a 15% discount on the cafe Bari around the corner. Room was small, no luggage rack, but bathroom/shower was great. I...

ideally placed on Canal Street near Chinatown and Little Italy. Good connections to subway lines and on the junction with Broadway. The rooms are Spartan, small and meagrely equipped but suitable for a quick trip into NYK....shower worked well. Beds are ok if you are 5'7" or less and ask for a high room as Canal Street is busy and...

I stayed from friday to monday and I have to say it is clean, confortable and steps away from the subway. The room is really small, is the bed, TV and a bathroom, nothing more. Half of my time there the TV did not work but I did not remember to tell the reception so it can speak about them....

The location was great, near the subway, Soho, Chinatown, Greenwich Village and Little Italy. My first room was small and hot. The next night I was upgraded to a much larger room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no coffee in the morning, but a coffee shop right next door.

Clean and comfortable rooms, with fresh towels and bedding daily. Good bathroom facilities too. The subway is literally outside the front door so perfect for being around the city. There are plenty of places to eat near by and a supermarket a few years down the street. The guy on reception, called Mike, showed amazing customer service. When I checked...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
