One night Saturday end of Feb stay, got great online rate and then though marriott chat I received upgrade from Studio to 1BR suite corner room for only $59 extra which is substantial saving off regular price. My room was ready before 12noon on the marriott app. Check in quick front desk really nice you have to use your key cards for entrance and elevators. 10th floor 2 room suite was huge well worth the extra money, everything spotless with extra sani-wipes, 2 large TV’s and bathroom even had window, they use Tea Tree products in big bottles. No breakfast yet so points instead. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
If you are looking for a short term or long term stay in New York, you cannot go wrong with the Midtown East / Residence Inn Marriott. As a displaced New Yorker and health care worker who is caring for patients during the pandemic this hotel has been my home away from home. This hotel is well maintained, extremely safe and the guest rooms are very clean and spacious. There is an onsite laundry room conveniently located on the lower level next to the gym and has plenty of is coin operated washers, driers and space to fold your clothes. It also helps that everything you need from various local grocery stores (Whole Foods), pharmacies, coffee shops, public transportation, restaurants, high end shopping, and Central Park all within a short walk 10 to 15 minute walk. But by far the best part of this hotel is the staff who keep it running safely! They are all extremely hospitable and trustworthy. The assistant general manager Brittany along with her front desk team including, Angela, Xelina, Claudia, Renee and Charlie will happily accommodate you to the best of their ability, whether that involves accepting a package, food delivery or arranging the best check in and/or out time. They all take pride in their job and will go out of their way to ensure you have a comfortable stay! By far the best Marriott for an extended stay in Manhattan. Enjoy!…
I love this hotel. I live just outside NYC and I often stay here after a fun night on the town. I've stayed in most Manhattan hotels at this price point over the years, this one is tops! Updated classy feel, the rooms are great and the staff is super nice. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. My room had a kitchenette and a view of the Chrysler Building. It was like having my own NYC apartment. The ultimate pied-a-tere experience. I highly recommend it.
My husband and I have stayed at the Residence Inn Midtown/East more than a dozen times in the past several months. All of our stays have been since the COVID 19 epidemic. The staff have all been wonderful and helpful, the Hotel has complied with all the epidemic requirements. I would like to especially mention the front desk staff as doing everything they could to make a difficult situation (essential travel during COVID) as pleasant as possible. They have been thoughtful, kind and extremely helpful to me and my husband. To make matters better, the rooms are well equipped and the location is good. I highly recommend.
Stayed one night, wanted to chill after working couple long rough shifts back to back. First impression professional front desk staff quite courteous. Clean inviting room. Chose corner 1 bedroom suite had a small kitchen with everything you need. Bed and pillows comfortable and most of all clean. Easy checkout process will definitely stay here again.
