We just spent 4 nights at this hotel for our 10th anniversary. We booked it using Chase reward points, so I can't comment on the value. The location could not be more convenient to the subway - 7 different lines literally just steps outside the door. There are also a decent selection of restaurants within a few blocks - a...

Very Friendly staff, convenient location. Awesome rooftop bar :) My only complaint is that it should have a pool. There is a Starbucks inside. Many good restaurants are also nearby. The lobby isn't on the ground floor you have to go through security and go up a level. Make sure you check out Monarch Lounge.

Two of us spent 4 nights at this hotel and loved it! The location is perfect for using the subway (just outside the hotel entrance), for walking, for eating, and for shopping. We had a view of the Empire State Building and Herald Square from our 14th floor window. The room has a great layout, uses the space very well,...

Two recent stays for 5 nights total. Great location, 1/2 block to Macy's Herald Square, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are spacious for NYC, very clean. Starbucks, workstations, comfy seating areas in bright lobby and awesome rooftop bar at adjacent Monarch.

Great spot in Herald Square. Easy walk to Times Square. Empire State Building literally around the corner. Jose the bellman was the best. He helped us unload our car and hand it off to the valet, and had the car retrieved for us promptly. He always chatted with our kids and made us feel very welcome. Different story from Occean...

The hotel was average - small room that was clean. Noise from the street made it difficult to sleep. Jose the bellman was exceptional - very friendly upon check in. He took the time to walk us down to the subway to make sure we knew exactly what to do and where to go. He really went above and beyond...

We stayed here in April for 4 days, we flew into Newark and used the shuttle bus service which was $21 per person. It takes about 1 hr to get to the hotel. Check-in was easy and our room was located on the 8th floor. We booked a 2 x bed room which was a good size considering you were...

I am wondering why this hotel would offer Marriott Rewards Member Exclusive Offers that include breakfast and extra reward points and then make it so difficult to redeem it. First, when I went for breakfast, the receptionist told me that my rate does not include breakfast. I had to call my elite Marriott number to claim my breakfast. Eventually, after...

We stayed for 9 days 8 nights in March 2017. Requested an early check in because we were arriving early morning. Unfortunately our room was not available until check in time of 3:00 pm. We were lucky enough that Michael (one of the concierge) was able to store our luggage while we tried to get an early check in. We...

Centrally located (like smack in the middle of Manhattan, 20 minutes walk to Time Square, 2 minutes to Macy's and a subway station seconds away), this hotel offers what an active modern traveller is looking for. Stylishly appointed and makes great use of the cozy spaces, this Courtyard does not disappoint. A nice selection of restaurants and eateries close by...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
