Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Rooms are fantastic and we recommend the 40th floor suites with terrace - the bedroom / living room aspect is excellent and the view from terrace is absolutely fabulous!
Great property for business travel. Have stayed at nearly all Marriott properties in midtown, and this is the best for experience at a reasonable price point. This will be my go to for visits to New York. Room is spacious for Manhattan, not tripping over things. Standup shower, wireless charging, decent desk are nice features. Like how you can check in entirely on mobile and skip the front desk for check in.
My daughter (24) and I spent 5 nights in a oversized, 2 queen bed, high floor room. This was her first time in NYC so we had a big list: sights, museums and tickets for 3 shows. Location was perfect and more importantly, the room was neat, very clean, updated & included a small fridge, Keurig, lots of outlets, plenty of closet & drawer space, a separate shower and soaker tub and very large windows. Not a lot of hangers for 2 women and we didn't have the robes that were supposed to be included with our room but I am sure if we would have asked, they would have brought them. We are pretty self sufficient so we didn't need any assistance or concierge service but found the front & housekeeping staff to be very professional and very friendly. Also enjoyed the cocktails and staff at the rooftop bar! Will definitely return here on future trips- I think for the price category and Times Sq area location, it is a great find!…
I'm not a frequent traveler, but often enough. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The service -- from check-in to check-out -- was exceptional! Staff were friendly and very helpful, especially with helping us catch cabs. Our rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, and we had a fabulous view of Times Square! Highly recommend this hotel.
Don’t bother filling the request box on your online reservation, it won’t be there when you arrive and it will take several calls to get a robe. There was a loud whooshing noice that keep us awake and when we reported it nobody cared. The grand finale was brown bag mushy eggs accompanied by black bananas the last morning . When I let them know they offered Hyatt points which humm, never made it to my account.
My 3 daughters and I stayed at the hotel for one their birthdays. We upgraded our 2 double bed room to a high floor room on the 53rd floor which was great. The last night we moved to a suite on floor 18. The suite was beautiful, but the noise from the street was surprisingly loud..The springs in the pull out bed in the living room was also extremely noisy and you can feel the springs through the mattress. We all decided that the double bed room on a higher floor was the way to go. There is a great cafe attached to the hotel but unfortunately it closes early and you can’t get any late night food from it. But, it’s New York, there are still plenty of food delivery options. Gym was nice and clean. If we would have been there in the summer we probably would have missed having a pool. Overall great hotel with a great location for what we wanted to do.…
Fantastic location, lovely room, friendly and accommodating staff. Considering where the hotel is located - the rooms are extremely quiet! The only reason we did not give 5 stars is due to the lack of room service or restaurant which would have been lovely for breakfasts.
Such a fun location for a first time in New York CIty. Room was really great, plenty of space, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, kind and great! Take advantage of opportunity for guests to visit the 54th floor everyday at 10:30, amazing views and great pictures!
Hotel was very clean and staff was extremely polite, courteous and helpful. I fully recommend this location to be close to Times Square. The workout room had the latest equipment and the hallways were clean and quiet. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms had heated flooring, an added plus!
Great location for sight seeing…clean, modern & tidy. Great staff who offered good recommendations. Would recommend higher room for the views. We chose this hotel mainly because we are a family of 4 and the beds were queen size so bigger than other hotels, double beds always annoy me in hotels they are far too small. The bar looked great but unfortunately we couldn’t visit because we had children. Great little shop within the hotel which offered food and drink .
