I stayed here for one night in April 2012. The hotel was easy to find, paid ($35) parking was 1-1/2 blocks away, and there were plenty of decent restaurants and bars close by. I paid $199 for a room with two double beds. Yes, the room was small, but that is totally expected in NYC (space is at a premium)...

We chose this hotel based on the location and price. The room was small but that was expected; it offered all the necessities for a weekend (iron, hair dryer, coffee maker, free wifi). I am shocked to read the reviews that comment on dirty rooms/bathrooms. The room we stayed in was very clean with nice, modern furnishings and decor (the...

I'm an employee of our chain, so I had gotten a great deal. The staff was friendly (even though I had to get used to NYC attitude/humor). We found Peter to be hilarious and the girls working the 7am shift were sweethearts. The room was small, but its the city, so that wasn't a concern. I mean I'm from Chicago!...

I have to agree with kellykellykelly43. The bathroom was pretty dingy and the towels were gray and threadbare. Our room could have use a very thorough cleaning! I also never took my shoes off in the room and could have used some shower sandals. I am confused by the number of people who rate this place as very good and...

First of all...I love the staff. They are warm and friendly, professional, yet more personable than at any other hotel. My girlfriend went crazy in the neighborhood. The shopping is crazy. Not only could she hit up large stores like TOP SHOP, H&M, Steve Madden, Uniqluo...there was tones of unique boutique stores like Supreme, GStar, Opening Ceremony and Irregular Choice,...

I wanted to stay in SOHO and chose this reasonably priced hotel based on the address & 4 star Trip Advisor rating. Maybe my expectations were just too high, but I was disappointed. POSITIVES: On-site staff do a good job with what they have. People were friendly at the front desk, helped me with directions; the housekeepers made my room...

We wanted to stay in lower Manhattan so this Soho hotel was ideal. Within a few minutes walk of Little Italy, Nolita, and Chinatown, close to the metro, and with diners, grocery stores and lots of shopping close by. The rooms were small but had everything we needed (desk, flat screen TV, wifi, iron/ironing board, hairdryer). They rooms were clean...

I enjoyed this Hotel a great deal. Beds were very comfortable. The decor was modern and new. Obviously the hotel is smaller than most non-New York Hotels, but for NY standards its identical. Staff & management were very friendly and accommodating. I extended my stay for 2 days and they honored my discounted rate from choice. Most hotels are not...

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
