I always have a great time while staying here. The hotel is one of a kind and is located in a very charming area of LES. Right across from the infamous Economy Candy Store, where you can find all you childhood favorites. This is the second time I have stayed at the Hotel on Rivington, and both times I just...

Spotless room, amazing private steam baths. Great team at the front desk. The views are amazing. 1 block to trains. Stores, restaurants, clubs all in walking distance. Breakfast downstairs in Co-Op with Michelle is an experience all on it's own. Simply the best!

Not only will you enjoy the wonderful accomidations with generously sized rooms (for NYC), but if you get a room on one of the upper floors you will get priceless views! The staff is extremely nice in both the hotel and the Co-Op restaurant. The Co-Op restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The hotel is located in a...

First, the rooms that are highlighted in most ads about the hotel are likely not the ones you'll actually be given, especially if you book through a "third-party" site--Hotwire, Hotels, Expedia, etc. That's the mantra of the front desk staff. The rooms you will be given are usually on a lower floor, where you are either looking into an apartment...

The hotel is fabulous! Not only did I house a film crew of 36 people here (with nothing but compliments from a very discerning group), but our production staff also worked out of the hotel in the 2nd floor music room and we were treated like royalty! The crew loved the hotel rooms, the restaurant has amazing food, the bar...

Staying in Lower East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving immigrant past and its modern transformation into a beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city. The blocks of tenements that represented the promise and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience now command top dollar for new residents. Right next to old-world delis, 24-hour bodegas, and the garment shops of Orchard Street, you’ll find hip clubs, fashionable bistros, and luxury hotels beckoning at all hours of the evening. If you love nightlife and live music, it’s hard to beat the scene here.
