The hotel is well situated and walking distance to a lot of things you'd want to see (Bryant Park, Empire State Building, Shopping along fifth avenue etc.). It's no surprise that the rooms are small, it's NYC after-all, but they are completely functional and efficient....More
This is my second stay and both times were equally good. Staff could not have been nicer. They always greeted us coming and going. The rooms are small but well equipped, updated and spotless. The bathrooms are a really nice size. All of the staff...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I did not pay a deposit but did find the room rates varied for friday sat sunday. This was a bit of a surprise when checking out. I booked hotel through a hotel web site. I was given a total price including taxes etc. But when the bill was broken down it was then I realised the room rate varied. It was a lovely hotel and very clean modern and comfortable. The room prices reflect what you get. It was a treat for my 50th. Had o been staying for just an ordinary trip i wouldn't have stayed as it was on the expensive side. Like i said though you get what you pay for.have a good trip
