Die Lage des Hotels ist fast perfekt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr klein und etwas älter. Sollen bald renoviert werden. Die Preise sind wie in New York City üblich recht teuer. The location of this hotel is almost perfect. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are small and old furnished. It will be renovated...

Attended the New York Auto Show for business and then stayed a few extra days. The Renaissance New York Hotel 57 - was close enough to Times Square and Central Park - it was a great location. But the best was the staff. Fantastic, accommodating, helpful - service FIVE STAR!

This hotel was for the most part very nice. I had one of the basic rooms with a full size bed. Very comfortable bed and the room was spotless. On the down side, while the room has a closet to hang up shirts, suits, and pants it lacked dresser drawers to store the rest of the small clothing items. The...

This hotel needs a complete overhaul. Reception/check-in is very good. Another good thing about this property is that each room does have A/C controls; bad thing is the a/c is very loud. I was able to prop open the window to get some fresh air. Mattress is hard, carpets are worn. Elevators are slow and small. This property does not...

This hotel is very nice. It is a hip retro hotel. Small rooms, cool décor, nice restaurant/bar. Everything in the room was up to date or even cutting edge, particularly the fixtures in the bathroom. It also made good use of limited space. Lobby, parlor and restaurant are on the second floor. Entry is a level down. Great location, 57th...

I enjoyed my stay at Renaissance 57. They are under construction now, expanding the lobby and perhaps more. I didn't hear a lot of construction noise during my stay. All of the decor in the common areas of the hotel is very dark, but tasteful. My room was small and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had been very tastefully...

Wonderful, quaint hotel with excellent service. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive, able to provide suggestions about local eateries, etc. The only issues were that the interior hallways outside my door seemed loud. Conversations could easily be heard. Also, I requested and was given a late checkout, knowing that I would be out late the evening before. Even though the desk...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
