Searched for the perfect get away to rest and shop and still feel at home. It was a wonderful experience and they treated me with kindness, respect and understanding when I explained two co-workers died of sudden heart attacks and I have 37 years of work and no rest! I am planning my next visit to Ivy Terrace soon. Super...

What a great find! We were so pleased with this accommodation right in the heart of NYC, the location is great for exploring the city with Central Park a short walk away and a nearby subway station. It is located in a great neighbourhood where we felt very comfortable and safe. The room was spacious, clean, heated well and had...

The room has comfy bed, is quaint, huge and all you could want. (Compared to sterile hotel rooms) Vanessa and John were absolutely fantastic giving advice even prior to arrival. The breakfast was plenty, good quality, and all we needed. Cooking facilities and the outside terrace was great. Even in the cold wrapped up with a blanket.

I've been staying at the Ivy Terrace on nearly all my NYC trips since 2008. The rooms are very specious, and I love the beds. Very comfy. The privacy is great. So much better than a typical hotel. Couple of good restaurants on the block too. I'll keep coming back.

Treat yourself on your next visit to New York City and stay at the Ivy Terrace B & B Inn. My wife and I spent a couple of days between Christmas and New Years in this lovely place conveniently located on East 58th Street in Manhattan (Midtown East). So happy you and your wife got to experience New York like real New Yorkers do. Our convenient location and homey warm decor is why our guests love us. We've stayed all over NYC and have never had such a quiet night as we had at Ivy Terrace. Both mornings we slept in past our normal wake up time. The bed is so comfy in the Zen Room and the apartment is spacious. Add location and this is a fantastic place to stay while in Manhattan. Restaurants, shopping and...

Thank You Yack for taking the time to share your opinion of Ivy Terrace with the world! I am glad you enjoyed the Victoria Suite and felt cozy and at home. Its so different to stay in a real B&B rather than a hotel. I am glad we have lots of independent young travelers like you that appreciate the experience....

We stayed here on our first visit to New York in early November 2016. The location is ideal. We were in walking distance to Central Park, 5th Avenue, Times Square and much more. Subway stations are a few minutes walk away and you can get uptown/downtown in minutes. The apartments themselves are fantastic. We stayed in the Rose room which...

I was scrambling to find a place for a business trip and the Ivy Terrace came through. I stayed in the Zen room, which is a one bed studio in a walk up. There was a nice ambiance and a full kitchen. There is a Whole Foods around the corner so this would be a great place for a longer...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
