We stayed at this charming apartment in the middle of Manhattan and it was excellent. The subway was close, we could walk to Central Park, Bloomingdales and lots of other iconic New York places. The owners were great, making restaurant suggestions as well as making sure out room was filled with everything we would need for our stay. It was...

Ingrid, It was a pleasure having you as our guest! You and your hubby sure did alot in a short time! We are happy you were able to see how staying with us is much better than a hotel. Having been in business 19 years in New York is not easy by any stretch, but our warm friendly guests, like...

The location is excellent. A busy street full of restaurants and close to many attractions. We recommend the Rose Room on the first floor which does not face the busy and noisy street. The room is very large by NY City standards and well equipped for your own meals although we always ate out. The owner is very helpful and...

Ivy Terrace is located in a great area. We were close to the subways, and within walking distance of many locations including Central Park. It was very clean and cute (which was VERY important to my wife). Our room had the outside terrace and we loved sitting there drinking wine and watching New York pass by. The kitchenette was a...

Michael, Thank you for writing about your stay in the Rose Room. The room is about 450 Square ft (41.8square meters), and the 2 beds in there are a queen-sized and a full sized, most folks find this is big enough for 2, I am sorry if you felt is wasn't large enough. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
