I have stayed here three times and this hotel has deteriorated in many ways. The location is great but they have slipped in everything else. Starting with the once great executive lounge. Originally on a high floor with great views it is now on the ground floor. You used to be able to get a free wine or beer in...

The renovation done on the lobby is nice and the location is fantastic, but the room decor is decades old. Checking in is a chore, they do not empower thier staff to make decisions so they have to continually go to the back room, or endlessly put in information into an antiquated room inventory program-this all means that you will...

I was attending a Pediatric Conference and the service and accommodations were very nice. Even as crowded as New York can be, we found a relaxing environment at the Hilton. Of course the location was excellent for my family to enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas in New York and see venues that could only be appreciated on television.

I've been to NYC many times, but never during the holidays. Decided to go this year. Stayed at the Hilton Midtown, which was close to everything! Nice property. Comfortable rooms. Convenient location.

From the totally disorganized check in and the dirty outdated rooms with wallpaper coming off the walls and mold in the bathrooms very old worn and dirty carpeting this hotel was a total disappointment. I had four rooms booked for my family for our annual Christmas trip to the city well we had 2 on the 25th floor and 2...

Our family has stay at this hotel twice and will definitely stay here again (when the price is right). The location is within walking distance of so many points of interest such as Carnegie Hall and Central Park. The breakfast buffet is terrific, with a lot of international foods to choose from. We really like the way the food areas...

Rooms are very small and cramped even for NYC. Terrible check in process and Parking Valet system is one of the worst I experienced as a frequent traveler. Charging for the business center computer is cheesy.

I was in NYC 2 weeks ago for a business conference and stayed at this property. I selected it based on location and WOW what a great hotel and great location. The proximity to 5th Avenue, Radio City, the theater district and Rockefeller Center made this ideal. The staff was friendly, the rooms were not elaborate but were clean and...

This hotel is average. There is no coffee maker in the room. The executive lounge has a "breakfast" but it consists of basically muffins and ready to go items. No eggs or meats. Nothing hot unless you toasted it yourself. Try to get the cot if you have more than 2 people. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. We also...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
