I have been coming to this hotel for the last 3-4 years for business. This time I decided to take my family and enjoy NYC. Needless to say our experience was well below average. This hotel has been declining in standards over the past years. Despite requesting Queen beds in the booking we were given doubles. These beds were incredibly...

The rooms are fine, but they really have very limited dining options. They offer a breakfast buffet for $45! (Continental is a mere $27!) they also offer an area that sells salads, sandwiches and flatbreads, juices, bottled wines, etc. which you can eat in the adjacent seating area. The Bridges bar is okay, but for some reason they automatically add...

currently sitting in our tiny executive upgraded room which we paid over $400 per night for. Was expecting a king bed but got a full maybe queen bed, don't tell me this is typical for New York because I know better my office is less than a half mile away also in mid town. Last week spent a night in...

We stayed here because we were attending a dinner being at the hotel. Usually in NYC we would stay at a smaller facility. I asked if there was an upgrade available, and they put us on a higher room. The room was nice with good views of the city. The main eatery at the hotel is a take-out which was...

This is now my favorite hotel in New York, the hotel grab and food court is very user friendly for someone with deadly food allergies and when arriving at all hours, the prices are like of all of New York.If you want coffee delivered it can be arranged but comes with union wages. My room was very clean I check...

I stayed at the New York Hilton Midtown for a business trip and I was very pleased. I stayed on the executive level and the rooms were very spacious compared to other NYC city hotels. This was my first visit to this hotel and I have already booked a room here for my next trip up there in January.

This hotel is perfect for attending the theater while in New York. They've redone the lobby and are working on the rooms. The rooms are large by NY standards and are very clean and inviting. My only complaint - the morning buffet breakfast is $45 a person - really - what the heck can you give me for $45 for...

We were lucky to bet a special for a weekend. As every one says amazing location and with 2,000 or more rooms quite busy We walked around the corner to Circo for dinner, terrific experience there . It's about ten blocks north of the main theater district but just a block for fifth avenue and Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music...

Great location, walkable to everything. Hotel itself is showing it's age and really needs a re-do. Carpet in room was threadbare, paint is chipping and the shower was old. Garbage in the halls (empty beer can, spilled food) was not cleaned for hours. I guess at the price charged I would expect the hotel to be 4 stars, it is not.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
