Worst hotel ever !!!! We have stayed here for 1 week (including New Year's Eve). on the 7th night (Sunday) The reception could not manage to take money from my credit card and they automatically locked me out of my room with my slippers on !!! I was telling "are you serious!?? Are you out of your minds!? I am...

Stayed between Christmas and New Years for three nights. Made reservations for Deluxe accommodations and after we arrived to check in, after much rechecking and delay by the counter staff, we were told there were no deluxe rooms available. ( isn't that what reservations by a Hilton Honors member are for, to reserve your room??). They offered to put us...

In New York, of the three of us, Owner, Worker, and Guest, the Owner comes in first. The worker comes is a weak distant second. The guest is treated nicely, but your own your own for what use to be considered usual and expected. There are minibars, and as everything in NYC, way expensive. The rooms are nicely appointed. And...

I stayed here five years ago for a conference and liked it. I came back for the same conference this year and was shocked at the decline of this hotel. Here's what's wrong: 1. No coffee makers in room 2. No restaurant. 3 bars, one takeout coffee bar with huge lineups. No sit -down restaurant. 3. No furniture in lobby...

Coming from Australia with my husband and two teenage children this is our trip of a lifetime. We planned to stay in NYC for 14 nights over Xmas and New Year. We booked the Hilton Midtown and were so excited that the location was within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Unfortunately we read and believed so many...

We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The Hilton Midtown was a terrific base to explore Manhattan. We had a 2 room suite on the 43rd floor that worked for our large family - sleeping and accommodating all of us very well - except an extra bathroom would have been nice. The room was spotless and quiet and...

A really big hotel. Our classic style room was well maintained and staff were friendly and competent. But there are lines for everything (except the $45 breakfast buffet). Fine if you are at a conference, but if not, I'd look for another hotel.

We stayed at the Hilton Midtown for New years eve and a couple of days after. Great location without a doubt. My big complain is about a questionable management decision. If anyone has been to NYC for New years know how massive the masses are. Well we arrived on the 31st of Dec and one of the three elevators for...

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. Not intimate - a bit crazy - but hey you are in New York! Can not get a better location. The hotel has done a good job updating the lobby there are still several floors of rooms that have not been updated for a few decades. Overall a good place and...

Check in took a long time - the clerk disappeared into the back. When she returned, she gave us our room keys and told us she was writing the customer service number on the envelope. Curious. Our room was not what we reserved - Queen instead of King bed and postage stamp sized. Called customer service - 'we ran out...

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry that you were not happy with your room assignment during your recent trip. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
