We stayed here for my niece's 10th birthday. It was her first time staying in a hotel in NYC. She loved it. The hotel is great. Very clean. I'd stay here again anythime. The location is great for shopping & shows.

So we booked an executive king room and the room itself is spacious and beautiful. The view was great. However, the hospitality was sorely lacking. Didn't have any laundry bags and apparently they do not stock the minibars. Further, no one helped me carry up my two large suitcases (I am 5 feet tall and weigh 100 pounds.. hence managing...

This hotel was perfect for going to see a play. It is walking distance. It can be hard to get a cab when everyone is trying to do the same thing at the same time. It was wonderful to walk to dinner and the show. They were so helpful with maps and directions. Plus the train is at the back...

Our family of 6 had a wonderful weekend at the midtown Hilton last weekend. The staff were at all times helpful, kind, friendly and courteous. We needed an extra bed, which appeared in 10 minutes! We would certainly return to this hotel in the future.

This is a very busy and large hotel but the service was fantastic. I stayed in an upgraded room on the 41st floor with a great view over central park. Gold HHonors was recognised (some confusion between staff over whether the voucher for breakfast could be used against buffet and the difference paid - but this was cleared up at...

we stayed in one of the executive suites because we were traveling with 2 babies and needed division of space! aside from bathroom fixtures being on the older side and an annoying magnifying mirror attached at face level above the sink, there were no complaints about our stay. room was spacious, even had a walk in closet, and allowed enough...

Nice place. The biggest challenge was the elevators. One could stand and wait a long time for an elevator (I was on the 19th floor). The whole time you can hear them zipping by your floor without stopping. One time, the cleaning crew had to let us use the service elevator after we'd already waited for 30 minutes. Even the...

the rooms look tired, the bathrooms are small, but the location is great, you can partially open the windows for "fresh" air and it is - surprisingly - fairly quiet for NYC (with the windows closed of course).

This was by far the worst Hilton I have ever stayed in. The concierge did get me a new room after complaining about the first one (looked like a rat chewed through the sofa, water damage on the couch, what looked like claw marks on the headboard of the bed and on and on), but the new room was equally...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
