Very clean, efficient, conveniently located, friendly staff. The large windows provide great views of the city! It’s close to great restaurants and the Hudson Greenway, so in addition to having ready access to the subway, there’s a lot to do close by.

convenient location if you’re looking to be able to walk into soho or be in Tribeca. We walked to Soho, West Village and in the area. Lots of great places to eat nearby. Room size was relatively large for NYC standards.
Stayed at the MoxyChelsea right before this - that hotel was much more up to date, had a fitness center and amenities etc put it above and beyond. But you’re in midtown. So each have their own benefits.
I emailed multiple times prior to check in To ask about early check and never got a response, I wrote on Instagram and was told I would get a reply and still never got anything. Otherwise, after the check in front desk staff was great.
Not the most up to date hall ways or room decor. Take note that they charge an amenities fee for literally 0 amenities. It’s 2020 - you can’t charge $30 a night for WiFi. Also no free fitness facilities so if you plan to workout you’ll need to pay 30$+ near by for a day pass. Elevator is very slow.
Our room was on 3rd floor facing the street and it was still quite quiet especially for nyc standards.
Overall for a good price if you want to be in this location id recommend

Here is all you need to know. The property is beautiful , the rooms are thoughtfully designed - coffee maker, lovely selection of tea, the mattresses and pillows are divine. There is an iron and ironing board, plenty of towels and shampoo, body wash, and conditioner dispensers in the bath. We had a double room and it seemed quite large compared to other hotels in the city. The hotel is secure, with visible security personnel and unique room codes to access rooms instead of keys or cards. A big plus was the friendly, helpful staff and the warm welcome we received coming and going. Oh, and did I mention the wonderful Tribeca location? 5 stars all around!

The good: For the price, this hotel was fine. The room was small but perfect for a solo trip. I travel quite a bit for work and there are small things that will make me remember a place and want to book again. One of those things was the happy hour wine and cheese offering this hotel provides their guests every evening. It was a lifesaver for me. Between work meetings and a show I had tickets for, I ran out of time to eat dinner. This happy hour filled my belly enough to get me through the show until I could have a proper meal later. I wouldn't say this perk was enough to make me want to book here again, but it's definitely on the right track. The location for my purposes was great. The staff were friendly and the check-in/out was butter. The bed was comfortable. The customer service here is excellent.
The meh: I work in special events. I'm especially tuned into consumer experience because it's my job to be. So I pay attention to details maybe the average person wouldn't notice so please take this following critique with that in mind and a pinch of salt. The incomplete mini bar offerings and toiletry amenities the hotel offers were meh at best. The bath toiletries were a hodgepodge of products that didn't even go together which gave an impression the hotel didn't seem to have an identity or a voice to me as a consumer. It felt very - random and thrown together as if to say, "here, this will do." The mini bar menu offered items that weren't available to buy. The staff explained that their alcohol offerings were going to be updated in the rooms but the new product hadn't been delivered yet. It just all seemed subpar and didn't match the service quality and look the hotel presents. My first night at this hotel, I was so exhausted I didn't have it in me to even find dinner. I just wanted a shower and bed. I will remember this place couldn't even accommodate me pouring myself a drink in my room and I'll remember the mini bar food offerings were not that great. I ended up going out to stock up on snacks for my stay from a nearby convenience store.
The noisy: The walls in this hotel are extremely thin. People just having normal conversations in the hallway sound like their in your room with you. So the wailing coming from a woman down the hall at 3 in the morning was extremely annoying. Especially on my last night there, which was a Sunday night /Monday morning. The hotel handled the situation, but if you're a light sleeper, I would make sure to pack ear plugs!

+1
My family stayed in 2 Sonders at Duane Street and were wowed with the accommodations, service and location. This boutique gem is stocked w/ surprise luxuries-like Davines bath products, an amazing shower, still and sparkling waters, and Rishi teas. The staff were attentive, kind and prompt. 10/10.

The property has a modern and nice design. The room is in all respects faithful to the photographs on the website: not very large but well furnished and equipped with everything (there are also iron and board, and a large screen with all the main streaming services). I appreciated that there was parquet flooring in the room, definitely preferable to the unhygienic carpeting. The staff is friendly and helpful; the app useful and functional. Drinks always available to guests (water, tea, coffee, chocolate) and umbrellas in free use.
I personally agree with the decision not to clean the room daily unless requested, so as to keep costs down and avoid wasting water and energy.
The only negative thing I found was the somewhat noisy heating. Also, the shower (which was nice and large) was dripping slightly. I didn't think this was a big problem, however, and in fact I didn't even inform the help desk about it (maybe if I had reported it they would have fixed it).

Overall, this hotel was fine and the service was great. The location in Tribeca is great; near some great sight seeing, however, the room was MUCH smaller than I anticipated. The pictures were a bit deceiving. All in all, we were just there for two nights so we didn't need much in the way of amenities but I wish we were more comfortable while there. I couldn't wait to check out as the space felt very constricting.

Really terrific little 'find' in the heart of Tribeca. Don't expect big bars, lounges and restaurants, it's tiny. But it's impeccably clean, super comfy, slightly wacky (which suits us well) and very generous - morning coffee and evening wine/nibbles on the house. A very welcoming team, who gave great restaurant tips, and responded to any request (additional pillows and chocolate craving!) immediately and with a smile. The only criticism (and it's a real stretch to find one) is that the air-con was rather noisy. Otherwise, this is a truly perfect little hotel and we will definitely be back.

I am not sure what I think about this Hotel as it feels more like an AirBnB and not a classic hotel. Reception is only staffed until 10 pm. You can get all the ammenities you need like toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo etc in the lobby in a storage closet.
the rooms are spacious yet didn´t feel very clean. The bathroom tiles had heavy stains on them and the drain in the sink was clocked (room sevice should have noticed that prior to my arrival)
the room will not be cleaned during your stay. while you have enough fresh towels a short sweep through at least every 2 to 3 days would have been nice.
The area of the hotel is good and conveniently located. I didn´t like that you couldn´t open the window at all. sometimes you need fresh air. I understand that they are scared of people jumping out but you can block the window so it only opens a tiny bit.
the aircon was hard to handle and no matter which temperature I set it to it remained the same.
You can´t beat the price but I think my next stay in NY will def. be in a proper hotel with all the hotel ammenities.
